Scope of the recall
Effective immediately, a total of 33 domestically produced Volvo XC40 vehicles from model year 2024-2025 manufactured between November 6, 2023 and July 22, 2024 are being recalled.
Reason of the recall
For some vehicles covered by this recall, the fixing bolts between the driver's seat and the body may not be tightened due to production and assembly reasons, and in the event of a collision accident, loosening of the seat fixing bolts will increase the risk of injury to the occupants and pose a safety hazard.
Solution
Zhejiang Haoqing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will entrust an authorized dealer of Volvo Cars to inspect the vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge and retighten the bolts as required to eliminate potential safety hazards. Zhejiang Haoqing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will notify relevant users by registered mail. Authorized Volvo Cars dealers will also proactively contact the relevant owners to arrange the recall.
