And World of Tanks, which has a large number of players and has attracted wide attention, also officially announced this Christmas gift brought by Jason Statham and given away for free by the whole server, which can be claimed by logging in to the game after 14:00 on December 20th!
Just like last year, this year's gift is still a Tier 9 tank with a 2D livery. But compared to last year's very mediocre Patton, this year's "GSOR tank" has a very different performance, allowing it to bring new experiences to commanders!
Its first impression is that it is the "Zhongtan version" of the excellent British Bajin Tan GSOR1008. Although a layer of gap armor has been added to its turret, making the original swinging turret more powerful, experienced commanders can still see that this is very similar to GSOR1008.

But on closer inspection, its chassis has also been changed, and instead of using the original GSOR1008 chassis, it has been replaced with a chassis similar to that of the same eight-gold heavy Tan Charlemagne.

In terms of main gun performance, WG learned the lesson of what the Patton tank did last year and issued the same L7 of the Centurion VII to the GSOR tank. The biggest feature of this main gun is that it has a penetration depth of 210 mm and a damage of 480 per shot as a gold coin shell, and the silver coin HE has a penetration depth of 105 mm, at least in terms of entertainment, which will not disappoint everyone.
In terms of protection and mobility, I personally believe that the level of protection is still guaranteed. The thickness of its armor base reached 100 mm, which basically reached the general level of medium tanks in its class. There is also a layer of gap armor pasted on the turret, and immunity to HEAT is not a big problem.
In terms of maneuverability, the top speed is on the low side, only 40/17 km/h. But considering that it has a thrust-to-weight ratio of up to 17, the acceleration performance is good, at least it is not uncomfortable to drive. At the same time, the track adaptability of the British system is generally okay, and the GSOR tank can exert its own maneuver on any terrain. Of course, if you choose another turbo, it can better make up for its lack of top speed.
Judging from the current situation revealed by the GSOR tank, I am personally optimistic that its reputation is stronger than that of the Patton tank. Especially its performance in firepower, the muzzle velocity of the three shells all exceeds that of the Patton tank, and there is also the blessing of high penetration and deep HESH, at least the entertainment is so high that I don't know where to go.
From the point of view of free gifts, this GSOR tank is already basically qualified. For many rookie commanders, this may be their first high-end mid-tan, and if you want this car, you must remember to pick it up online after 2 p.m. on December 20th!
