With immediate effect, the company will recall 1,200 imported XC90 vehicles manufactured between December 1, 2014 and September 23, 2023 for the 2015-2024 model.
The fixing bolts of the second-row seat belts of some vehicles within the scope of this recall are not tightened in accordance with the regulations, and when the vehicle collides, the seatbelt fixing bolts may be loosened, affecting the restraint effect of the seat belts, increasing the risk of injury to passengers, and posing a potential safety hazard.
Volvo Cars Sales (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., through Volvo Cars authorized dealers, will tighten the seat belt fixing bolts for the vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge according to the specified torque to eliminate potential safety hazards.
