The two-wheel drive long-endurance version of the Han DM-i is expected to be officially listed in March-April this year, while the BYD Han DM-p is a four-wheel drive high-performance version, which may decline in pure electric endurance compared to DM-i. The new car also basically continues the design style of the current model in terms of appearance, and adopts the Dragon Face sports front face and the through-type "China knot" LED taillights.
In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4960mm/1910mm/1495mm, and a wheelbase of 2920mm. From the data point of view, the new car has the same wheelbase as the current model, and only slightly reduces the body length. In addition, BYD's new Han DM-i will use two capacity battery packs of 18.3kwh and 37.6kwh, and the pure electric mileage of the new car will be 121km, 202km and 242km.
In terms of power, BYD Han DM-i will be equipped with a new Xiaoyun 1.5T engine + EHS145 hybrid system composed of a super hybrid system, the peak power of the two-wheel drive version of the electric motor system is 145kW and 160kW, and the peak power of the four-wheel drive version of the Han DM-p front and rear motors is 160kW and 200kW, respectively.
Judging from the current sales data, the models in the BYD Han family are still the sales champions of the brand, of which BYD Han EV ranks first in the sales of medium and large cars in pure electricity with monthly sales of more than 10,000, and the new BYD Han (DM-i/DM-p) will increase the overall strength of the Han family after the listing, and sales will further increase.
