First, the body clearance
Measured data of the front cover gap: 6mm (root), 4mm (middle), 3mm (end), the average value is 4.3mm, and the maximum difference is 3mm;
Measured data of the gap between the front fenders and the body: 3.5mm (above), 3.5mm (middle), 5mm (lower), the average value is 4mm, and the maximum difference is 1.5mm;
Door and body gap measurement data: the three measurement data are 3.5mm;
Measured data of rear fender clearance: 0.5mm for all three measurements;
Rear tailgate clearance measured data: 4.5mm (above), 5.5mm (middle), 5.5mm (bottom), the average value is 5.2mm, the maximum difference is 1mm;
According to the available data, the average of the clearance around the C-HR dual-engine body is 3.5mm, and the maximum difference is 3mm, of which the average clearance at the rear tailgate reaches 5.2mm, which will have a certain impact on the NVH performance of the rear of the vehicle. In terms of average clearance, the measurement data of 3.5mm is similar to the Lynk & Co 06 (3.45mm) we have previously evaluated, which is the mainstream level of the joint venture brand.
Second, the thickness of the paint film

After actual measurement, the average paint film thickness of the C-HR dual engine body is 4.4mil, about 111.76μm, of which the paint film thickness above the front door and the edge of the rear tailgate is 6mil (152.4μm), the paint is thick, and the paint thickness in other parts of the body is 4mil (101.6μm), which is easy to cause loss of the primer when a small scratch occurs.
Third, body materials / interior materials
The C-HR dual engine is based on the TNGA platform, and in terms of body materials, the car uses Toyota's unique GOA high-rigidity body structure to ensure higher cockpit strength and lighter weight. When a relatively large collision occurs, the GOA body of the C-HR dual engine will also cut off and absorb the impact force in a self-sacrificing manner, and then evenly disperse the force to the skeleton of each part of the body through the integral body, so as to reduce the deformation of the internal space as much as possible and protect the occupants in the cockpit to the greatest extent.
In terms of suspension system, unlike The Front Landa, C-HR uses a combination of independent suspensions of front McPherson and rear E-type multi-link, so in terms of comprehensive quality, C-HR is still much stronger than the front Landa of the full series of torque beams, and the higher price of the former is better understood.
In the interior part, the C-HR dual engine adopts the standard Toyota family design, and the car is equipped with a combination of floating central control screen and LCD instrument, but compared with the self-owned brand models at the same price, C-HR has a big gap in terms of interior texture and technology atmosphere creation. Specifically, in addition to the C-HR steering wheel and seat parts using some leather fabrics, most of the interior is made of plastic molding technology, which is indeed a bit out of step with the times for a top-end model priced at nearly 200,000 yuan.
