As the second Xiaopeng sedan product after the P7, the strength of the P5 is still not to be underestimated, not only equipped with Livox for the Customized Version of Xiaopeng Automobile's lidar, but also has the XPIRAT3.5 automatic auxiliary driving system (550P, 600P optional).
It is reported that the new 460E+/460G+ is based on the 460E/460G model, upgrading the 17-inch five-spoke star-track wheel to an 18-inch multi-spoke laser rim, the price increased by 2000 yuan, and the NEDC working condition endurance dropped from 460km to 450km. The difference in the configuration of the 510G/510E model and the 550G/550E model is only one, and the NEDC battery life has dropped from 550km to 510km, and the price is also 5000 yuan cheaper.
In terms of appearance, the new model basically maintains the design language of the current model on sale, and xiaopeng P7 inherits the "X-lightsaber" design, and the front face uses a lot of "X" type elements, such as the shape of the headlight group and the two sides of the front bumper, which reflects a geek style everywhere; and the "X element" through-type headlight group uses LED light sources, and adopts the same intelligent interactive light language as P7, as well as the linkage of sound and lighting, supporting users to customize themselves.
The side lines of the body are relatively straight, and too many complex designs are used. More special in the position of the C-pillar, the area of the triangle window is very large, ensuring the lighting of the rear row, and the black trim behind the triangle window also lengthens the visual effect. The announcement data shows that the length, width and height of the new car are 4808/1840/1520mm, and the wheelbase is 2768mm.
The rear of the car adopts the same family design as the Xiaopeng P7, and the through-type taillights are highly recognizable. Unlike the Xiaopeng P7, the Xiaopeng P5 does not use split taillights, but is all integrated together, and the overall sense is stronger. In terms of tire size, two tire specifications are available, 215/55 R17 and 215/50 R18 for consumers to choose.
Inside, the steering wheel of the new car is a three-spoke design, the outer ring has a leather wrapping, and a punched design. There are multi-function buttons on the left and right, the adjustment button for driver assistance on the left, and the multimedia and trunk opening buttons on the right. The 550P and 600P high-end models are equipped with two lidars and can optionally be equipped with the XPILOT 3.5 driver assistance system, which will be able to realize the urban NGP function in the future. The 460E, 460E+, 510E and 550E models can be equipped with THE PILOT 3.0 driver assistance system. The 460G, 460G+, 510G and 550G are equipped with the XPILOT 2.5 driver assistance system.
