And what did the children in ancient times play with, there is such a painting in the Forbidden City, we can try to peek into it.
First, there are a hundred kinds of fun in "Hundred Zi Tu"
This is a painting called "Hundred Sons", which, as the name suggests, depicts a hundred children. The reason why it is called "Hundred Sons" is actually from the legend of the Hundred Sons, also known as "King Wen Hundred Sons", legend has it that one day King Wen of Zhou picked up a child named Lei Zhenzi on the side of the road, and he already had ninety-nine children before, and due to fate, he would gather hundreds of sons, so he was called "King Wen Hundred Sons".
In the picture, we can clearly see that every child in it is playing and playing with childlike fun, and some of the games in the painting were even played when we were young. There are not only all kinds of fun games in the picture, but also a lot of interesting little toys, such as the masks worn, the dancing lion's head, and the flower lanterns that we can still see today.
