The story of the train to Salzburg

After three days in Vienna, the couple boarded the train to Salzburg. Looking out the window at the beautiful Austrian countryside, I began to reminisce about the bits and pieces of my travels, recording my inner thoughts and past on my mobile phone from time to time. The trip to Vienna, leaving too much beauty in the heart, should be a long-awaited trip, an unusual trip, but also a timeless trip, where everything has been left in the heart forever.

Sitting on Austria's characteristic double-decker train, the wide and soft seats give people a different and general comfort. The car provides special wifi, and there are charging sockets under the armrests of each seat, which is simply a kind of "special treatment" for me, not only can I record the bits and pieces of the journey with my mobile phone without scruples, but also share my journey happiness in the WeChat group from time to time. I thought that taking the train must be part of the trip, and it should be the best experience of travel, right?

Looking out the window at the beautiful idyllic scenery, I remembered the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary that I had just played, and although the countryside of those countries was also beautiful, the gap was obvious compared to Austria. If you read the previous travelogue, you will find a phenomenon that the villages of the three countries above are mostly farmland, but the Austrian countryside is already completely verdant lawns. What does farmland and lawns say? How developed is a country, right? Why is the gap between the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria, which are also Central European countries, so large? Do you think it has something to do with the social system and social ecology before the 1990s? In the past, the little brothers who mixed with the big brother of the Soviet Union, why did the more they mixed, the less they did? Travel really gets a lot of thinking. So what about Russia today? Its total economic output is not as good as Jiangsu Province, let alone Guangdong Province, let alone per capita. If you mix with it, what effect can you mix?

The founder of political sociology, the Frenchman Tocqueville, in his Old System and the Great Revolution, has this sentence: "As long as equality and despotism are combined, the standard of mind and spirit will continue to decline." Is this sentence profound? On the one hand, if a system degrades the level of people's hearts and minds, economic and social development must be slow, even stagnant, and it is possible to go backwards, because "people" are creating everything. Was this the case with the Soviet Union of the past and Russia of today? On the other hand, how to understand equality? Westerners speak of "process equality", that is, for high-income people, high taxation to balance the income gap. Countries like Russia talk about "equal outcomes", that is, whoever kills the rich kills whom, do you think killing the rich can really help the poor? Which of these two equalities do you prefer? Tocqueville's words were not his own, but a generalization of the facts. Can reading some good books open the mind? Therefore, what books to read is learned, and some books can really make people go astray.

Gazing at the beauty outside the window, refusing to let go of the little bit that disappeared in an instant, it reminded me of three trips to Germany, three trips to Switzerland, two trips to France, and the Alps in which the three countries are located. The train ends in front of salzburg, a pearl in the Alps. I remember the second time I went to Switzerland, I wrote a very short essay, think about it, and attach it to this travelogue! Because for the next few days, the two of us played in the Alps.

      Mullen's autumn colors

On our way to the Swiss town of Dragon Frontier, we turned around at the Wilderswil train station, remembering the town of Mullen suspended in the mountains not far away, and the alpine waterfall like a ribbon.

I would like to find the glacier in my memory, feel the mystery and elegance of the mountain peaks in the silver wrapped and floating clouds, the season has not yet arrived, and the mountains are still full of green. Looking far away, at the foot of the mountain, those huts depicted in fairy tales are sparsely fenced, the stars are scattered in the middle of emerald green, the cattle are strolling, the goats are trampling, the brown horses are reined, it is an autumn landscape painting in the heart, I want to paint it in front of my eyes, colorful and colorful autumn scene.

The sound of the water wrapped around the sound of the wind, drifting in Maronier, the fallen leaves locked my feet, fortunately leaning on the side of the road, quietly staring at the red that fell in the green at the foot of the mountain.

The autumn scenery is dreamlike and mesmerizing, and I want to live in this fairytale world in front of me, with you.

The contrast between the Central and Eastern European countries above and the essay of this small Swiss town is a strong contrast between "rationality" and "sensibility", which is the harvest of travel, right? In fact, it is also the release of "thinking" and "emotion" in the journey.
