Gansu|: The "Four Libraries and Complete Books" library will be fully opened in an orderly manner

Recently, the "14th Five-Year Development Plan" of Gansu Provincial Library was released. During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, Gansu Provincial Library has a total of 194,000 kinds of paper books and 499,900 volumes (including 18,300 volumes of 10,400 kinds of local literature in the northwest), 51,500 volumes of 05,100 kinds of periodicals, and by 2020, the total amount of physical resources in the collection will reach 4,823,300 volumes (pieces), and the total number of digital resources in the collection will reach 2,510 TB; the total number of readers will be 7,476,000, the number of borrowed books and periodicals will be 4,386,000, the total number of certified readers will be 161,000, and the total number of users on the WeChat public platform will be 36,500.

In the next five years, gansu provincial libraries will take the construction project of the northwest local literature theme library as the starting point, rationally adjust the allocation of literature resources in Gansu and other four provinces (regions) in northwest China, and continue to enrich the local literature resource system in northwest China. Earnestly strengthen the collection, collation and publication of precious literature and local ancient literature in the collection, increase the intensity of interview collection, procurement and digital processing of various types of local literature, provide various forms of special reading services through special databases such as bibliographies, abstracts, and full texts, and explore the "Gantu model" of the development and utilization of ancient books and local literature in northwest China.

During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the museum will also expand the ancient book restoration center, realize the total area of the ancient book restoration site of more than 350 square meters, equipped with 10 to 15 restoration technicians, update the restoration facilities and equipment, formulate and improve rules and regulations, and actively declare the national ancient book restoration center. At the same time, we will seize the opportunity of "ancient book restoration skills" to be selected as the fourth batch of intangible cultural heritage projects in Gansu Province, and recommend the tutors of the Gansu Transmission Institute of the National Ancient Book Restoration Technique Transmission Center to declare the provincial representative inheritors of ancient book restoration skills. In addition, it is necessary to combine the basic research on the restoration of ancient books with the work of key restoration projects, continuously strengthen the restoration skills of various types of paper cultural relics, declare the creation of a provincial ancient book restoration skills master studio, do a good job in the display and inheritance of ancient book restoration skills, and strive to promote the sustainable development of ancient book protection in our province and even in the northwest region.

It is understood that the provincial map will continue to deeply implement the spirit of "making the words written in ancient books come alive", make use of the social influence of the "Four Libraries of the Whole Book" for thousands of years and the cultural origin, and orderly launch the Wenshu Pavilion "Four Libraries complete book" library to the public, to create a new landmark of cultural tourism in Gansu. At the same time, we will strengthen the excavation and interpretation of the value of the "Four Libraries" literature and the value of cultural relics, give full play to the effectiveness of the mass academic group of the "Four Libraries and Complete Books" Research Association in Gansu Province, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the four library research groups and scholars at home and abroad, edit and publish a series of achievements such as "The Premise of the Four Libraries of the Four Libraries", and improve the new think tank services of the Four Libraries. Through lectures, exhibitions, academic seminars, research activities for primary and secondary school students, and research and development and promotion of cultural and creative products, the Wenshuge "Four Libraries" Library will be built into an immersive cultural tourism brand complex integrating classic book storage, exhibition, publicity and education, academic research and leisure tourism.
