Lin Mingxuan, a student of Mingde Primary School in Shichuan Town, happily told reporters that through this activity, I learned that ancient books are bound with thread, and I will learn some other ancient books in a while, and I will share them with my parents, so that my parents can also realize the importance of these knowledge.

During the event, the volunteers were also energetic and guided the "little restorers" to visit in an orderly manner to experience the content of the activity, and carefully and patiently explained the principles of ancient book restoration, the production of paper twists, and the sewing of thread-bound books, and the whole activity was orderly, humble and civilized.

"This activity is an intangible cultural heritage experience activity jointly organized by our Gansu Provincial Ancient Books Protection Center, Lanzhou Library, Beizhuang Village Committee, and their village-based team. We also hope that in this season when the ancient pear tree flowers are in full bloom, students can learn about intangible cultural heritage knowledge in this relatively open atmosphere, so that they can feel the charm of traditional culture. Liu Xiaomiao, a staff member of the Gansu Provincial Ancient Books Protection Center, told reporters.

Through this magical experience, the children can not only understand the knowledge of ancient books and the important role of ancient books as cultural carriers in historical inheritance, but also make them deeply fall in love with the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
