On April 15, at the Sichuan Provincial Center for the Restoration of Ancient Books in Chengdu, Yuan Dongjue taught his disciples the techniques of restoring ancient books.
The 74-year-old Yuan Dongjue has been engaged in the restoration of ancient books and the restoration of ancient books in the Sichuan Provincial Library for nearly 40 years, and she has restored 355 kinds of precious ancient books, calligraphy, paintings and pictures, and 4,088 volumes, which have given many damaged ancient books a "new life".
