Zhen Honglin, graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, studied under Wang Shenglie, Xu Yong and Zhou Yuwei. Before retiring, he worked at the Mass Art Museum in Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, as a researcher, a full-time painter, the deputy director of the Northwest Art Museum of Gansu Province, a painter at the Yunfeng Art Station in Laizhou City, Shandong Province, and a painter at the Beijing Tianxia Youli Calligraphy and Painting Institute.

Engaged in art education and art creation for more than 40 years. The style of the work is either fresh and delicate, elegant in style, or magnificent and majestic. Landscape painting is mainly based on real-life style sketching, different regions or landforms, using different techniques and forms of expression, and the works are deeply loved by collectors, galleries, enterprises and institutions and consumers. Since 2016 alone, hundreds of works have been collected.
Since 1977, many works of different paintings have participated in exhibitions at or above the provincial level and won awards. "China Art News", "Shandong CPPCC Daily", "Wuwei Daily" in Gansu Province, and "Fuxin Daily" in Liaoning Province have all introduced and published landscape painting works.
In 2015, he created a 50-meter-long scroll "Hundred Miles of Fine River Map"; in 2016, he and Yin Weiguo, a classmate of the famous painter Lu Mei, went to Laizhou, Yantai, Shandong Province, to hold art state activities; in 2017, he went to Tianzhu, Wuwei City, Gansu Province, to create the national tour exhibition of "Damei Tianzhu"; in 2018, he went to Tianzhu Dahonggou in Wuwei City, Gansu Province to create a series of landscape paintings of "Qingliang Dahonggou Wuwei Back Garden"; and at the same time, he was invited to create a large-scale landscape painting of "Tianma Hometown Damei Wuwei". In 2019, he was invited to create ten landscape paintings of Wuwei City, Gansu Province. At the same time, at the invitation of the Zhouqu government of Gansu Province, together with Yin Weiguo, he created a huge real-life landscape painting expressing the customs and customs of Zhouqu for the Zhouqu Museum and the Zhouqu Conference Center.
