Pen drawing is a painting made of ordinary fountain pen or special metal pen infused or dipped in ink, which is a kind of linear art and belongs to an independent kind of painting. By controlling the speed and force of the pen grip, you can draw lines of different thicknesses. Pen painting has a unique sense of beauty and is very interesting, which is characterized by decisive affirmation with the pen, strong and smooth lines, strong contrast between black and white, fine and compact picture effect, and can not only do fine and subtle portrayal of the things painted, but also a high degree of artistic summary, portraits, still lifes, landscapes and other subjects can be expressed.

Pen drawings are divided into different types such as realistic pen drawings, colored pen drawings, pen pastel paintings, and design pen drawings. The nib used is thick, thin, flat, round and so on, and different nibs can produce different effects. Pen drawings represent objects through changes in monochromatic lines and gray-and-white tones composed of light and heavy thinness of lines.

Ma Guobin

Guangxi Sanjiang people, the number of Moxin, Zhuang ethnic group. Graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Guangxi Normal University. Artist signed by the World Art Exchange in New York, a contracted painter at new York Gallery, a contracted illustrator of Wuliangye Group's "Brew of a Big Country" magazine, the first person in China's Dongxiang pen painting, the inheritor of China's Wind and Rain Bridge pen painting, and the winner of the National Award of the National Pen Painting Competition for four consecutive years.

Xu Yahua

Also known as a cultivator, he was born in August 1956 in Huzhou, Zhejiang. A powerful painter of Chinese realistic pen painting, one of the advocates and promoters of realistic pen painting, his works and techniques have been widely disseminated and borrowed in the industry.

Wang Tongxing

Born in 1962, Harbin. In 1986, he graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts majoring in decoration. He has been engaged in pen painting for more than 30 years and has published a personal collection of pen paintings. He has won many awards for pen drawing and illustration exhibitions. The theme of the work focuses on reflecting the natural landscape and rural life of the north. Through the art form and essential characteristics of pen painting, with realistic techniques and profound connotations, he expresses the creative concept of "writing mood in plain language" and "linear Qiankun".

Wang Jun

A native of Linchuan, Jiangxi, he studied under the Chinese painter "Jiangnan Cow King" Mr. Fan Ruzhi, who systematically studied and created pen paintings and Chinese paintings, and graduated from the School of Art and Design of Jiangxi Normal University of Science and Technology in 1995, majoring in design.

Subsequently, he studied environmental art and urban planning and design at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts.
