On January 1, the top three new car-making forces successively posted last year's annual report card, and Weilai, Xiaopeng and Ideal jointly sold more than 90,000 vehicles a year, stabilizing the head position. However, under the annual sales of nearly 100,000 vehicles, the annual delivery ranking of the three companies has also changed. With its continuous high sales performance, Xiaopeng finally fixed the qualifying result as "Xiao Wei Li".

"Securities Daily" reporter checked the data show that the total delivery volume of Xiaopeng Automobile in 2021 reached 98155 units, 3.6 times that of 2020; in December, Xiaopeng P7 delivered 7459 units, with a total delivery of 60569 units throughout the year, accounting for 62% of the total delivery volume of the whole year.

In terms of NIO, a total of 91,429 vehicles were delivered in 2021, an increase of 109.1% year-on-year. Cumulative deliveries of ES8, ES6 and EC6 have reached 167,070 units as of December 31, 2021, compared with 90,491 vehicles delivered in 2021, an increase of 177.4% year-on-year. 14,087 vehicles were delivered in December 2021, an increase of 130% year-on-year.

In summary, in the sales battle of "Wei Xiaoli" in 2021, Xiaopeng Automobile won the first place in annual sales, and at the same time, it also became the fastest growing year-on-year growth rate of the three car companies in the whole year. NIO and Ideal Auto ranked second and third respectively.

In fact, not only are there no concessions in terms of delivery volume, but since last year, the three companies have been competing in terms of production capacity, research and development, and products. The industry generally believes that whether it is to expand production successively or speed up the landing of new products, who can take the lead in "landing" to achieve profitability, who can sit firmly in the top seat of the new forces, and finally face the challenge of Tesla.
