During the Liberation War, when the Kuomintang generals faced the Plaster, they generally had four outcomes: capture, surrender, escape, and uprising; in comparison, the future of the uprising generals was certainly the brightest, and many Kuomintang generals wanted to revolt at the last moment, and for our army, it was of course good to reduce casualties and expand the results. However, there was a personal uprising that was rejected by Zhou Gong, who was this person?

This man's name was Sun Liangcheng, and he was once one of Feng Yuxiang's "Thirteen Taibao" and one of the most capricious.
Sun Liangcheng was a soldier of Feng Yuxiang and was forced to go to the field after the Central Plains War. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Sun Liangcheng defected to Chiang Kai-shek, and he made a comeback and became the "Commander-in-Chief of the Jicha Guerrilla Army."
However, Sun Liangcheng did not settle down for long, because because he was dissatisfied with the treatment of the central military concubines, Sun Liangcheng surrendered to the Wang puppet government again, and it is said that Sun Liangcheng also performed a farce of "pretending to be defeated and captured".
How loyal is Sun Liangcheng to Wang Jingwei? That was absolutely none; while expanding his army, he secretly contacted Chiang Kai-shek and described his surrender as "preserving strength." In this way, after some whitewashing, Sun Liangcheng became a representative who endured humiliation and burdens, and after the victory of the War of Resistance, he smoothly returned to the Kuomintang troops.
However, Sun Liangcheng's contact with our Party did not begin in the late stages of the Liberation War, but at a time when the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression had not yet been won. At that time, Sun Liangcheng knew that the Japanese army was bound to lose, so he began to contact our party, at this time Sun Liangcheng also hooked up with the Kuomintang, and finally he felt that the Kuomintang was powerful and had more prospects, so there was no uprising.

However, Sun Liangcheng was born in the miscellaneous army, and once surrendered to the Japanese, and the Mix in the Kuomintang army was not good, and his troops had few left after the reorganization, at this time Sun Liangcheng thought of our party again, and this time Sun Liangcheng had already agreed to the uprising, but because Chiang Kai-shek expanded his troops, he changed his mind again.
His idea of uprising came to an abrupt end, and Sun Liangcheng not only did not revolt, but also took the initiative to attack the People's Liberation Army.
And this is not the most excessive Sun Liangcheng has done. In the Battle of Huaihai, Sun Liangcheng was surrounded by our army, and as a result, he thought of an uprising. Zhou Gong had already seen that Sun Liangcheng's uprising was not sincere at all, so he said that he would only accept Sun Liangcheng's surrender. Sun Liangcheng had no choice but to surrender.
After Sun Liangcheng surrendered, he took the initiative to say that he would do the work of plotting rebellion, but after he returned to the Nationalist army, he changed his mind again, and several members of our army were killed because of his betrayal. Of course, Sun Liangcheng did not have a good end, he was not used by Chiang Kai-shek, he was arrested after the founding of the People's Republic of China, and died in the detention center in 1951.
