Father and son revolted at the same time, and later the son became a traitor and was shot, and the father became a deputy state!

In the later period of the Liberation War, our Northeast Field Army, the North China Field Army, the Central Plains Field Army, the East China Field Army, and the Northwest Field Army launched strategic decisive battles in the Northeast Battlefield, the North China Battlefield, the Huaihai Theater, and the Northwest Battlefield under the unified arrangements of their superiors, and the Kuomintang troops north of the Yangtze River were annihilated one after another. In the face of changes in the battlefield situation and the call for domestic peace, many patriotic generals within the Kuomintang began to follow the general trend and hold uprisings to promote the cause of the peaceful liberation of the motherland. The generals of these uprisings later achieved great achievements, such as Chen Mingren of the Hunan Uprising, Dong Qiwu of the Suiyuan Uprising, and Tao Zhiyue, who promoted the peaceful liberation of Xinjiang, and later awarded the rank of general.

However, among the generals of these uprisings, there was a father and son, who at the same time revolted back into the arms of the people, but later the two developed in the opposite direction. Who is the son who became a revolutionary traitor and was killed, while the father became a deputy state? He is Long Yun and Long Rope Zeng. What's going on here? Let's move on!

Father and son revolted at the same time, and later the son became a traitor and was shot, and the father became a deputy state!

Long Yun, a native of En'an, Yunnan, was born in November 1884 and was of the Same Ethnic Yi ethnicity as Luo Binghui, a senior general in our army. He graduated from the Yunnan DaowuTang, and very early followed the first generation of "Yunnan King" Tang Jiyao to participate in the anti-Qing struggle and the Patriotic War, and after gaining Tang Jiyao's trust, he launched a coup d'état to replace him, and then defeated other powerful factions in Yunnan to unify Yunnan and become a new generation of "Yunnan King".

As a powerful figure among the warlords in the southwest, Long Yun's Dian army was an important pawn in restraining the Guangxi Gui warlords. Old Jiang also saw this, so he vigorously co-opted Long Yun and appointed him chairman of the Yunnan Provincial Government, and Long Yun also repaid old Jiang during this period, and there was both cooperation and struggle between the two. During the Long March of the Red Army, Lao Jiang appointed Long Yun as the commander-in-chief of the Second Road of the Bandit Army and ordered Long Yun's Dian Army to pursue the Red Army entering Yunnan. Long Yun knew very well that this was an opportunity to "consume" the strength of the Dian Army, so he only posed as a hard battle and engaged the Red Army "tacitly" to preserve its strength and avoid the Central Army from taking advantage of the void. Old Jiang knew this but was helpless.

During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Long Yun successively served as the commander-in-chief of the First Group Army of the Nationalist Army and the director of the Kunming Camp. In the face of the great national righteousness, Long Yun showed a firm determination to resist the war; on the one hand, he organized anti-Japanese armed forces and sent 40,000 Dian troops led by Lu Han to the north to resist Japan; on the other hand, he organized the military and people of Yunnan to rush to repair the Yunnan Burma Highway and guarantee China's land and international transportation lines, thus making outstanding contributions to the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan.

On the eve of the victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan, the democrats advocated peaceful nation-building, but the old Chiang Kai-shek was ready to implement dictatorial rule and accelerate the suppression of democratic forces. This made Old Jiang greatly dissatisfied, so he secretly planned the "Dragon Exorcism" operation. In August 1945, in the name of "surrender", Lao Jiang transferred most of the First Army of Long Yun's troops to Vietnam to participate in the surrender, which led to the emptiness of the Kunming Dian Army, and soon after Du Yuming took the opportunity to launch an incident, forcing Long Yun to leave Yunnan for Chongqing, and after arriving in Chongqing, Long Yun was immediately placed under residential surveillance by the agents. In the following years, Long Yun successively served as the president of the Military Senate and the deputy director of the Strategic Advisory Committee.

In the period of the Liberation War, the Kuomintang army lost one after another on the battlefield, and Long Yun, who knew that the old Chiang Kai-shek would be defeated, secretly planned to escape from Nanjing. In December 1948, Long Yun, relying on his relationship with the American general Chennault, cleverly evaded the surveillance of secret agents and escaped from Nanjing by plane. After arriving in Hong Kong, Long Yun joined the Kuomintang Revolutionary Committee to declare an uprising, and he united with democrats and actively threw himself into the anti-dictatorship democratic cause. At the same time, Long Yun used his prestige in the Dian army to actively instigate the old subordinate Lu Han to revolt in Yunnan. At this time, his son Long Sheng zeng also "actively" followed his father's call, reorganized his troops into the Yin Wu Column of the Southwest People's Revolutionary Army, and declared an uprising as commander.

After the founding of New China, Long Yun got rid of the obstruction of the agents and returned to the mainland from Hong Kong, where he was received by Mr. Zhu and others. Because of Long Yun's outstanding contributions to the cause of democracy, he successively served as a member of the Central People's Government and vice chairman of the Southwest Administrative Committee, and later, together with Zhu Laozong, Peng Laozong, Cheng Qian, Fu Zuoyi, Zhang Zhizhong, and others, he was elected vice chairman of the National Defense Commission, and he was promoted to the rank of vice minister. After his son Long Shengzeng revolted, he served as the deputy commander of the Zhaotong Garrison District of the People's Liberation Army, and it was reasonable to say that he should have a good future for development, but what made people indignant was that he failed to live up to the expectations of the people and became a revolutionary traitor, and even secretly developed private armed forces, colluded with the enemy to launch a riot, and was eventually killed by our army.

Judging from the ending of Long Rope Zeng, he originally had a good deck of cards after the uprising, but he himself did not recognize the general trend like his father, seized the opportunity, threw himself into the embrace of the people, and finally ended up with a tragic ending, which should be a sentence "Many acts of injustice will kill themselves."
