This person's name is Wang Ke, he is a native of Suixi County, Guangdong Province, in 1934 was admitted to the Central Military Academy of the Nationalist Army, after graduation was assigned to the Nationalist Reserve Division, in 1937, Wang Ke came to Yan'an on duty, where he secretly joined the Communist Party of China, and has since become an underground party member. In 1938, Wang Ke returned to Guangdong and later entered the 64th Army of the Nationalist Army as a probationary staff officer at the division headquarters. In 1940, Wang Ke returned to his hometown of Suixi County, where he successively served as a county government councilor and township mayor, and later he founded Wushu Middle School and established an underground party branch here.
In 1943, when more than 1,600 Japanese troops landed on the Leizhou Peninsula, Wang Ke risked his life to go to the battlefield to collect enemy intelligence, helped the Nationalist troops annihilate many Japanese troops, and even shot down two Japanese fighters. After the war, Wang Ke was promoted to major staff officer, and soon after he was transferred to the 155th Division as a staff officer. After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Wang Ke served as the head of the Kuomintang intelligence team in Guangzhou and Zhanjiang, and he used this identity to collect a large amount of intelligence on the Nationalist army and pass it on to the Chinese Communists.
In 1946, Wang Ke was sent to Guangzhou to work and collected a lot of intelligence on the Central And Military Command, but in 1948, Wang Ke was suspected of being a "communist" and was arrested and imprisoned in Guangzhou. After that, the enemy could only release Wang Ke from prison without any substantial evidence.
In 1948, the Kuomintang established the "Suppression General" in Zhanjiang, and Lieutenant General Zhang Junsong was appointed deputy commander of the Lieutenant General, and as soon as Zhang Junsong took office, he began to carry out "encirclement and suppression" operations against the CHINESE guerrillas in the Guangdong-Guizhou area. However, just after this, Zhang Junsong realized that there must be information leaked by someone inside, so he began to vigorously investigate, and the result was that the head of the underground party member Lin Cailian was found, and then Zhang Junsong ordered people to arrest 6 underground parties, including Lin Cailian, and brutally kill them. After that, after receiving the news, Wang Ke immediately withdrew to the guerrilla zone and was appointed deputy commander of the 6th detachment of the guerrilla column in the Guangdong-Guizhou Border Region of the CPC.
In 1949, under the instigation of Wang Ke, the direct subordinate units of the 62nd Army of the Nationalist Army announced an uprising, and then the rebel army launched an attack on Zhang Junsong's troops, Zhang Junsong was angry, commanded the troops to resist stubbornly, and was finally killed by the rebel army, after which the enemy army collapsed, Wang Ke led the troops to pursue the victory, and soon liberated Zhanjiang City.
