After the surrender, Sun Liangcheng took the initiative to ask for help, and went back to persuade Liu Ruming to surrender in order to strive for meritorious performance, and as a result, Zhou Hao once again underestimated Sun Liangcheng's cunning!
It turned out that Sun Liangcheng's return to persuade him to surrender was false, and it was true that he intended to escape from the Liberated Areas and trap Zhou Hao and others!
Therefore, when Sun Liangcheng took Zhou Hao and his party into Liu Ruming's defensive zone, he immediately changed his face and escorted Zhou Hao and others to Nanjing. Desperate, Sun Liangcheng could only run to live with his lover in Shanghai, but the speed of the People's Liberation Army moving south far exceeded his imagination, and before he could run, Shanghai was liberated, and Sun Liangcheng was also recognized and arrested.
In March 1951, the infamous Sun Liangcheng fell ill and died in the war criminals management center, ending a life of scorn.
