Ten years ago, Yu Zecheng's image was once deeply rooted in the hearts of the people and was all the rage. Now, ten years later, "Latent" still has a large base of hardcore fans. It is generally believed that Yu Zecheng's prototype was Zhou Hao, who served as the supreme head of the Nanjing area of the military command organization and held the rank of major general of the Kuomintang. According to historical records, the Nanjing area fell in 1937. The Japanese and puppet authorities carried out a great deal of damage to the Kuomintang underground forces: the Central Command lost almost all underground organizations, and the underground organizations of the Military Command were destroyed and rebuilt many times. It was when Zhou Hao was rebuilding the underground organization that he established meritorious service, and the puppet authorities on the same day went around and obtained a lot of intelligence, and finally he was named the station chief of Nanjing Station.
After the end of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Zhou Hao was inexplicably imprisoned by the Kuomintang authorities on the grounds of corruption. This made Zhou Hao cry and laugh: he risked killing his head to resist Japan in the occupied areas, and in the end he was suspected of corruption. However, Zhou Hao didn't think much about it, only that in the future, he would be wronged and snowy, after all, the Qing people would clean themselves. It was not until a year later, after Dai Kasa's death, that Zhou Ho was released and knew the inside story of his imprisonment: during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Dai Kasa secretly contacted the Japanese puppet government, and these insiders could not be known to the public. Therefore, after the victory of the War of Resistance, it is time to extinguish the mouth. Fortunately, Dai Kasa died, otherwise Zhou Hao would never have a chance to get out of prison.
This incident subverted Zhou Ho's worldview. He was extremely disappointed in the Kuomintang, but also realized that such a ridiculous political party could never win the hearts and minds of the people. Therefore, Zhou Hao pinned his hopes on the Yan'an side, and made contact with the Yan'an side and became an underground party member. Initially, during the civil war, the Kuomintang had the initiative in the war because it owned large cities and received a large amount of the spoils left by Japan. At this time, Zhou Hao's main job was to collect the troop allocation, deployment and battle plan of the Kuomintang side for the Yan'an side. Since Zhou Hao was a major general in the military command, the information he obtained was much more valuable than that of other underground personnel.
Around 1948, the war situation was reversed. Clear-eyed people know that the defeat of the Kuomintang regime is a foregone conclusion. During this period, Zhou Hao's work underwent a change: Zhou Hao believed that at this time, the Armed Forces owned by the Kuomintang regime accounted for a large proportion of the Miscellaneous Brands Army, and if it could plot against the Miscellaneous Cards Army, it would be tantamount to weakening the strength of the Kuomintang and allowing the People's Liberation Army to reduce great casualties. Zhou Hao's idea was approved by his superiors, so Zhou Hao considered persuading Sun Liangcheng, the commander of the provisional Twenty-fifth Division.
Sun Liangcheng had serious warlord habits: at first Sun Liangcheng was Feng Yuxiang's old subordinate, and later switched to Chiang Kai-shek. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he saw that the Japanese were powerful, and then turned to Wang Pseudo, and then returned to Chiang Kai-shek's men. Therefore, Sun Liangcheng was despised by the Kuomintang side. Zhou Hao believed that at this time, Sun Liangcheng had already separated from the Kuomintang, so he plotted against Sun Liangcheng. Sun Liangcheng hesitated at first, until he was deeply surrounded by the Platon Army army, and then surrendered.
After Sun Liangcheng surrendered, he said that he and Liu Ruming, the commander of the Eighth Corps, had a deep relationship, so he said that he could plot against this person. So Zhou Hao, on the recommendation of Sun Liangcheng, met with Liu Ruming. Unexpectedly, although Liu Ruming was dissatisfied with Chiang Kai-shek's suppression of him, he was still loyal to the Kuomintang government, plus his wife and children were all in Nanjing, and in addition, when Liu Ruming heard that Zhou Hao was a former major general in the military command, he was worried that this was old Chiang Kai-shek "fishing", so Liu Ruming detained Sun Liangcheng and Zhou Hao together, and then transferred them to Nanjing. When Chiang Kai-shek learned of Zhou Hao's "sabotage" of his great cause, he was furious and ordered Zhou Hao's execution, which was already January 1949, only three months before the liberation of Nanjing.
