On December 23, Huawei officially unveiled the first model of the new brand, the Q&I M5, at the winter flagship new product launch conference, and opened pre-sale. The AITO M5 is positioned as a mid-size luxury electric extender SUV and is also the first car to be equipped with the Harmony OS smart cockpit. The new car launched a total of 3 models with rear-drive version and four-wheel drive version, and the pre-price after subsidies was 250,000, 280,000 yuan and 320,000 yuan respectively.
In terms of appearance, the overall shape of the AITO M5 is smooth, using a large area of trapezoidal grille, and adding horizontal chrome trim strips for embellishment. At the same time, the headlight group with the official "shark fin streamer lights" increases the sense of technology and recognition of the new car. In addition, the new car is also available in six exterior colors: ceramic white, pine frost green, ice crystal gray, gilded black, sea blue and azure blue.
On the side, the new car as a whole still adopts the shape of a traditional SUV, but with a sneaky design, the wind resistance coefficient of the whole vehicle is only 0.32Cd, which has both the sporty sense of supercaring and the sense of stability of the SUV.
In terms of body size, the body length, width and height of the body is 4770/1930/1625mm, the wheelbase is 2880mm, the positioning is medium-sized SUV, the rear stretch space reaches 870mm, further enhances the comfort of the ride, and has a 369L large-volume trunk.
In terms of the rear, the taillights of the new car through the type have a high degree of recognition, and the "AITO" logo is printed in the center of the taillights.
In terms of interior, the overall use of an integrated wrap-around cockpit design, 15.6-inch central control screen with a full LCD dashboard, the center console is covered with leather and wood grain panels, the seat is made of Nappa leather material, and the front seat is equipped with electric adjustment of the front seat, ventilation/heating function, seat massage and other functions. In addition, the interior also provides three colors of ivory white, polar night black and agate dumplings, as well as support for a 3-slot fragrance system, and the new car is also equipped with the fastest on-board charging system in the industry, which can be described as full of high-end feeling.
It is worth mentioning that the Harmony OS vehicle system equipped with Huawei is the biggest highlight in the car, supporting 3D face intelligent recognition function, using the smart split screen function to build a variety of window displays, and equipped with HUAWEI SOUND sound system to meet the needs of users in many aspects of the car.
In terms of power, the new car uses a range extender hybrid, equipped with a 1.5T engine from Cyrus, with a maximum power of 125 horsepower, and a range extender generator with a rated power of 60 kW. In addition, the peak power of the front drive motor is 165kW, the peak power of the rear drive motor is 150kW, and the acceleration time of the 100-kilometer acceleration of the four-wheel drive flagship model is 4.4s.
In terms of battery life, the new car is equipped with a battery pack with a capacity of 40kWh, a fuel consumption of 0.8L/100km under the WLTC cycle, and a cruising range of 1242km when full of fuel and electricity.
