The latest: British tanker hit by missiles in the Red Sea!
Trafigura, an oil tanker operated by British trading giant Trafigura, was hit by missiles while crossing the Red Sea, and Trafigura said a fire broke out in a cargo hold on the starboard side of the tanker.
The Houthis issued a statement of responsibility for the incident and claimed that the successful attack on a British oil tanker was also in retaliation for the bombing of the Houthis by the British and American forces.
The ship, which was carrying naphtha used in the production of gasoline and plastic, was attacked about 55 miles southeast of Aden, Yemen.
At present, the British Navy is rushing to the site of the incident, but the Red Sea is so large that it is difficult for the British Navy's military forces deployed around the Houthis to cover the areas and shipping lanes that need to be protected.
