PART.01
Entrance master valve
The main valve (valve in front of the gas meter, the main switch of the gas source) is a valve in front of the gas meter, which is mainly used to control the on/off of gas at home.
Valve position
According to the flow direction of the gas in the pipeline, the main valve is located at the front of the gas meter.
Opening and closing instructions
The valve is closed perpendicular to the gas pipeline (in the direction of crossing), and the valve is open parallel to the gas pipeline (in the same direction).
In the following two cases, please remember to close the main valve of the home
1. When going out of the door or not using gas for a long time, the main valve should be closed.
2. When there is an emergency such as gas leakage, open the doors and windows for ventilation, close the main valve for entry, prohibit opening or closing the electrical switch or waking up the mobile phone and other behaviors that may cause static electricity or sparks, and call the gas emergency number in a safe place.

Plug valve
Maybe it's a valve that you often overlook, but it's really important.
Generally, there are two stopcock valves, which are installed near the gas stove and water heater, and are connected to the gas pipe (galvanized pipe) and the gas connection pipe, which are used to control the use of gas appliances such as gas stoves and gas water heaters, and are used as the second safety key for gas at home.
Water heater front valve
It is installed between the gas pipe (galvanized pipe) and the connecting hose of the gas water heater, and is mainly used to control the gas on-off of the gas water heater.
Stove front valve
This valve is similar to the water heater front valve and is installed between the gas pipe (galvanized pipe) and the gas stove connection hose to control the gas pipe to ventilate the gas connection pipe and the cooktop.
Reminder: For your safety, it is recommended to close the plug valve before going to bed every day to avoid gas leakage safety hazards due to damage to the gas hose at home and the valve is not closed.

The plug valve has the function of automatic shut-off of overflow, which can effectively prevent gas accidents. It is recommended that if the gas has not been used for a long time, the plug valve should be closed first and then reopened. Gas stove valves

Gas connection pipes
Gas connection pipes (gas hoses, gas connection hoses) are important accessories for connecting indoor gas pipes and gas equipment (gas stoves, gas water heaters).
According to Article 6.1.7 of the national standard "Gas Engineering Project Specification" GB55009-2021: when the household user's pipeline or LPG cylinder regulator is connected with the gas appliance by a hose, a special gas appliance should be used to connect the hose. The service life of the hose should not be less than the scrap life of the gas appliance ().
Tips
1. The gas hose is made of stainless steel and the length is not more than 2 meters.
2. The gas hose shall not pass through the wall, floor, ceiling, door and window under any circumstances, because the hose will be damaged in the wall, resulting in gas leakage and is not easy to find.
3. Regularly inspect the gas hose, and replace it in time if it is found to be damaged or overdue to avoid gas leakage.
4. When you need to replace a new water heater in the later stage, you must see the gas inlet pipe and outlet pipe clearly, and do not connect it in reverse. Once the connection is reversed, the water flows backwards into the gas pipe, and if the water ingress time is long, it may cause all the water in the underground pipe network to enter the water, and there will be a large-scale gas outage accident. According to the relevant regulations, violators will not only have to pay for repairing gas facilities and other related expenses, but will also bear the corresponding legal responsibilities!
