In order to further strengthen the fire prevention and control of electric vehicles and effectively prevent the occurrence of electric vehicle fire accidents, recently, the Xiyang County Fire and Rescue Brigade has successively entered Wenhuayuan Community, Xuefu Jiayuan, Chengdong Community and other residential communities to carry out special inspections on fire safety of electric vehicles.
In the meantime, the fire supervisors walked into the centralized parking area of electric vehicles in each community, focusing on whether there is illegal charging in the community, privately pulling the flying wire to charge the electric vehicle, illegal parking of electric vehicles at the staircase, fire passage is occupied, evacuation channels and safety exits stacking sundries and other behaviors to conduct a carpet investigation, and at the same time check the working status, operation and safety of the charging pile on the spot to ensure that the facilities are working well.
In addition, the supervisors also instructed the property staff of each community to strengthen the centralized parking management of electric vehicles, daily duty inspections, standardized charging and the management of corridors in residential buildings, and other measures, guiding residents to develop civilized habits, not stacking sundries in public corridors, strictly implementing the "three clearances and three customs" measures, increasing publicity and education for residents, and effectively improving residents' awareness of fire safety.
Judging from the investigation, illegal charging, random parking, and occupation of evacuation channels are common among electric vehicles. In view of the hidden dangers identified, the supervisors contacted the community grid staff to register them one by one, and urged the person in charge of the property in the community to immediately rectify the hidden dangers.
In the next step, the brigade will continue to increase the rectification and publicity of illegal parking and charging of electric bicycles, effectively eliminate the fire hazards of electric bicycles and various disaster-causing factors, and lay a solid foundation for the continuous and stable fire safety in the jurisdiction.
