In 2021, Beijing promoted the facility agriculture subsidy project in the whole city, and the villages and towns of Beizang happened to need their own seedling bases. Taking advantage of the policy, Lu Yonggang leased more than 7,000 square meters of land in Qianguanying Village, Beizang Village, established Beijing Gengyu Zekun Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd., and applied for project funds to carry out the business as the company's legal person. "There are seedlings all year round, staggered peak seedlings" is the seedling characteristics of the park, and the category of seedling cultivation is based on the guidance given by the technical extension station of Daxing District Agricultural Service Center, according to the market demand, watermelon and vegetable seedling cultivation in spring, leafy vegetable planting in summer and autumn, and fruit and vegetable planting in winter. "In the early stage, our park will also carry out market research, on the one hand, to understand the output value and nutritional value of various fruits and vegetables; On the other hand, the regional land is analyzed and the seedling type is selected in a targeted manner. Lu Yonggang introduced, such as Provencal tomatoes, peppers, pea sprouts, L600 small watermelons, etc., these are fruits and vegetables with relatively large market demand, and high nutritional value.
In addition, the town's agricultural development department asks and guides the seedling base through regular inspections and irregular visits; Professors from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences regularly provide technical guidance on seedling cuttings, light, temperature and humidity control, fertilization management, and comprehensive pest control and control. These have made the seedling work in the park continuously improve in terms of efficiency and accuracy.
At present, in addition to selling to surrounding farmers, the park has reached cooperation with agricultural companies outside the district, and has completed orders for 67,000 cabbage, 20,000 tomatoes, 13,000 peppers, 4,000 beibei pumpkins, 3,000 eggplants, and 100,000 parsley seedlings. In order to broaden the sales channels, the park is promoting agricultural materials and seedlings to agricultural technicians in various villages in Daxing District, and the town government is also actively helping to publicize and find resources to help the high-quality development of the park.
Intelligent cultivation empowers new quality productivity in agriculture
The scientific and technological seedling greenhouse has changed the traditional seedling mode, realized the factory, large-scale and intelligent production of seedlings, and provided a high-quality seedling source for off-season vegetables. It is reported that the park is expected to cultivate 3 million seedlings every year.
Walking into the intelligent greenhouse, the reporter of Beijing Youth Daily saw that tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, cabbage and other seedlings were placed in an orderly manner on the seedbed frame, and the growth was gratifying. An intelligent sprinkler device is suspended above the seedlings, and the staff presses the start button to achieve one-second sprinkler irrigation. The blower on the side of the greenhouse can be ventilated to keep the air in the shed fresh; The water curtain on the ventilator acts as a cooling effect; The shade net on the roof can be adjusted according to the light required for the growth of the seedlings to ensure normal photosynthesis. In another pea sprout greenhouse, a handful of tender green sprouts are growing vigorously. The staff told reporters that sprouts like this have good humidity and light, and the growth cycle is generally about 7 days, and they will also be sold to the vegetable wholesale market in the form of contract farming.
At present, there are two nursery sheds in the park, covering an area of 2,800 square meters and 3,400 square meters respectively. Lu Yonggang described that cultivating these seedlings is like taking care of children, according to the preferences of seedlings to control temperature, humidity and light, to ensure the emergence rate of seeds and the growth quality of seedlings, "We are very strict in the selection of seeds, all seeds are from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Agricultural Sciences, to ensure the high quality of seedlings." Lu Yonggang introduced that high-quality seeds and meticulous cultivation can grow strong seedlings, which is also the basis for achieving high-quality fruits.
Create jobs and maximize agricultural income
A reporter from Beijing Youth Daily learned that the first wave of seedling cultivation in the park this year began in March and lasted about a month and a half, during which more people were needed to take care of the seedlings, and at most more than a dozen villagers worked at the same time a day. Due to the machine sowing in the early stage, the number of seedlings in each petri dish in the hole tray is different, and the seedlings need to be manually sorted after emergence. There are 72 petri dishes in a tray and the villagers need to plant a large number of seedlings in the tray to ensure that there are enough seedlings in each tray to ensure that there are enough seedlings in each tray.
"Most of the people who come here to work are villagers in our village, and they can earn 25 yuan an hour and 200 or 300 yuan a day." Wang Minghui, general manager of the company, said that before the seedling period, they will inform the village committee and leave contact information, so that the village committee can contact the villagers, and the willing villagers can work in the park.
The base not only drives the employment of the villagers, but also provides jobs for the villagers in the surrounding towns and villages. Li Jiancheng, a 62-year-old villager from Dongheifa Village, Pangezhuang Township, Linzhen, has been working here since the base was built, and is responsible for the management of the greenhouse every day, "riding an electric car for 20 minutes to work here every day, and taking care of a meal at noon." With a monthly income of 4,000 yuan, Li Jiancheng feels very satisfied.
In addition to creating employment opportunities, the park also provides preferential seedlings for the surrounding villagers, and the town and surrounding villagers need to plant seedlings, and the park charges half or even lower than the market price, so as to help farmers increase their income to the greatest extent.
Function expansion promotes the integrated development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries
"Later, when the seedling work is stable, we will open more functional areas." Talking about the future development of the park, Lu Yonggang said that at present, there are still 25,000 square meters of land in the application for seedling bases, which are planned to be 8 planting sheds and 2 display sheds.
The sorting and packaging workshop will be standardized and make full use of the fresh-keeping cold storage area, and the fruits and vegetables after harvest will be cleaned, tested, graded and other rough processing according to the different needs of customers. In addition, it will also combine the work of party building, red education, and science popularization in the park to build a research base, combine it with the tourism and cultural resources of Beizang villages and towns, and organize students, youth, enterprises and other groups to visit and study here to experience the charm of modern agriculture.
