CCTV News: Xinjiang Horgos Customs recently announced that from January to March this year, the import and export freight volume of Xinjiang Horgos Port reached 9.996 million tons, an increase of 24.7% year-on-year, a record high.
Since January this year, the import commodities of Khorgos port are mainly mechanical and electrical products, agricultural products, food, metal ores and mineral sands, etc., of which the trade volume of imported agricultural products and food has increased significantly. The main export commodities are new energy vehicles, high-tech products, clothing, textile yarns, fabrics, etc., among which, the trade volume of new energy vehicles increased by more than 3 times year-on-year.
With the rapid development of import and export trade, Xinjiang Khorgos Port has vigorously implemented "digital port", "paperless customs clearance" and "railway express pass", which has continuously improved the efficiency of port access and inspection, and also helped the steady growth of import and export freight volume. In the first quarter of this year, the volume of goods in Khorgos reached 2.672 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 10.8%.

In the first quarter of this year, 260 China-Europe trains entered and exited through Suifenhe Port in Heilongjiang, with 24,750 TEUs, an increase of 25.6% and 21% year-on-year respectively.
On the morning of April 25, a Russian train loaded with 44 plate containers entered the Suifenhe port and will then be sent to the port of Dalian. With the increasing popularity of China-EU trade, the number of China-Europe trains from Suifenhe Port has increased significantly since the beginning of this year. In order to ensure the high-quality operation of China-Europe freight trains, customs, railways and other departments have played a joint role in actively building a "customs-railway-enterprise" communication platform, strengthening business collaboration and information and data sharing, and dredge the transportation congestion points of the trains.
At present, Suifenhe Port has become an important node of the East Corridor of China-Europe Express, and the import and export goods cover a variety of commodities such as plates, grain, fertilizers, automobiles and spare parts, and small household appliances.
