On April 21, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy in Yemen, Mr. Shao Zheng, visited Muqala, Hadramaut Province, Yemen, and attended the handover ceremony of China-aided medical supplies with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Bajasi, Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population Dohan and other people from all walks of life in Yemen.
In his speech, Chargé d'Affaires Shao Zheng reviewed the history of friendly exchanges between China and Yemen, and hoped that China's new batch of medical supplies would help alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Yemen and improve the medical level of Yemen. He stressed that China will continue to provide humanitarian and reconstruction assistance to Yemen within its capacity to help the Yemeni people enjoy peace at an early date.
People from all walks of life in Yemen highly appreciated and expressed their heartfelt thanks to China for its massive and selfless assistance to Yemen, and stressed that they will continue to make unremitting efforts to consolidate and deepen relations between Yemen and China.
