At around 15:00 p.m. on April 26, 2024, a fire broke out on the roof of the first phase of the sliced battery workshop of Shanxi JinkoSolar No. 2 Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanxi Jinko"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of JinkoSolar Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), causing a fire accident. After the accident, the company immediately activated the emergency plan, quickly took measures to evacuate the personnel, and fully cooperated with the local fire department to implement on-site fire extinguishing and rescue. With the help of the local fire emergency department, the fire has been brought under control and extinguished. At present, the specific cause of the fire accident is being investigated and verified.
There were no casualties in this accident, and the plant, equipment, and inventory at the accident site were damaged to a certain extent, and the specific losses are being verified and evaluated, and it is initially expected to have a certain impact on the annual performance of 2024. The company has insured property insurance for the damaged assets and has reported to the insurance company, and the relevant insurance loss verification and claim settlement work is being carried out in an orderly manner.
