On October 13, 2022, many fishermen from Hanyuan Village came to the sea convenience hall under the comprehensive management center of Sandu Town, and came to ask for help due to the large-scale death of farmed abalone. Sandu Town Comprehensive Management Center, together with the public security and law departments, found out that it was due to the purchase of Shantou Hairong Feed Technology Co., Ltd. production of "Hairong" brand, "Huanguan" brand abalone finished flake feed for feeding, resulting in a large area of abalone death, resulting in direct and indirect economic losses of about 80 million yuan, with the joint efforts of multiple departments, to help more than 70 farmers recover losses.
