In the corner of my desk is a pot of bamboo. It is not as gorgeous as a rose, nor as delicate and lovely as the moon, but gives people a comfortable feeling with its green beauty.
Wenzhu is a bit like bamboo, but it is much thinner than bamboo, and I always feel that it is more like a miniature of pine. The leaves of Wenzhu are large, each consisting of many small hairy leaves. Wenzhu is evergreen all year round. In early spring, its green branches pull out a few new shoots. The new shoots show their furry green leaves. In the spring of the curtain, many fine new leaves of tender green protrude from the new branches of Wenzhu, which appear lush.
In the middle of summer, the breeze occasionally blows through the screen windows, and the bamboo breezes. The wenzhu that has just been watered is even more beautiful. Tiny crystalline droplets of water are contained in dense green leaves, and the sun shines like countless wonderful pearls shining. Autumn is the season of falling leaves. But Wenzhu is still so green. The leaves made of green silk were one by one. It forms a green shade, which makes people feel elegant and quiet.
In the cold winter, a hundred flowers have withered, but Wenzhu is still as beautiful and tall as the pine and cypress. Its lush and stretched green leaves seem to show the vitality of life, making people feel so gentle and so strong. I have to look at this pot of bamboo every day. Its strong will inspires me to work hard.
