In addition, among the new energy vehicle companies that have announced sales today, GAC Aeon became the only company with a delivery volume of more than 10,000, with GAC Eian delivering 10,212 vehicles in April, an increase of 23% year-on-year, and a cumulative sales volume of 55,086 vehicles from January to April this year, an increase of 113% year-on-year. Hechuang delivered 3,084 vehicles per month, an increase of more than 6,500% year-on-year.
In April, the epidemic in Jilin, Shanghai and other places had a certain impact on the automobile supply chain and automobile consumption, and most of the new energy vehicle companies that have released sales data have declined month-on-month, while the delivery volume of new car companies in April has not exceeded 10,000.
Zero run won the first place, and Nezha ranked in the top three
Weilai Automobile, Xiaopeng Automobile and Ideal Automobile have always been considered to be the three new car companies in China, but from the perspective of recent deliveries, Nezha Automobile and Zero Run Automobile are surpassing "Wei Xiaoli".
Zero-run vehicles delivered 9,087 units in April, an increase of more than 200% year-on-year for 13 consecutive months, and from January to April 2022, a total of 30,666 units were delivered. In March this year, the delivery volume of zero-run cars reached 10,059 units, and the delivery volume exceeded 10,000 for the first time, ranking third among the new car companies in the month.
Zero Run is expected to become the fourth car company to go public. In March, Zero Run Auto released a Prospectus for Hong Kong stocks. According to the prospectus, 40% of the net proceeds of Zero-Run Auto are expected to be used for research and development of new models, autonomous driving technology, and three-electric system technology; 25% will be used to increase production capacity, such as the construction of the Hangzhou factory that will start this year, improving the level of factory automation, etc.; 25% will be used to expand business and enhance brand awareness, including overseas businesses such as opening overseas flagship stores in the European market in 2023.
Nezha Automobile has basically established itself in the camp of new forces in the head car, with deliveries of 8,813 vehicles in April, an increase of 120% year-on-year; from January to April 2022, the cumulative delivery volume was 38,965 units, an increase of 240% year-on-year. In recent months, the monthly delivery volume of Nezha Automobile has always ranked in the top three of the new car-making forces, ranking second in February and March this year.
At present, the main sales products of Nezha Automobile are concentrated in entry-level pure electric products of about 100,000 yuan, and in April, Nezha V car series delivered 5694 vehicles, and Nezha U car series delivered 3119 vehicles.
In terms of capital market, Nezha Automobile's parent company, Hezhong New Energy, has been rumored to carry out IPO many times, and it was reported earlier that Hezhong New Energy will conduct an IPO as early as the second half of this year, but Nezha Automobile said that there are no details to disclose at present.
Xiaopeng's performance is stable, and Weilai and ideals are dragged down by the supply chain
Among the three leading new force car companies of "Wei Xiaoli", Xiaopeng Automobile performed relatively stably.
In April 2022, Xiaopeng Automobile delivered 9,002 units. From January to April 2022, Xiaopeng Automobile delivered a total of 43,563 units, an increase of 136% year-on-year.
In April, Xiaopeng Automobile once again failed to "deliver more than 10,000", but the result of 9,002 vehicles still made Xiaopeng the runner-up in the delivery volume of new power car companies. Since September 2021, when the first monthly delivery exceeded 10,000 units, So far, Xiaopeng Motors has only delivered 10,000 units in February and April 2022.
Nio's deliveries in April were 5,074 units. As of the end of April 2022, NIO has delivered 197912 smart electric vehicles. In April, WEILAI was greatly affected by supply chain shortages. On April 9, Li Bin, chairman of WEIO, said that due to the impact of the epidemic, since March, the company's supply chain partners in Jilin, Shanghai, Jiangsu and other places have stopped production, and due to the above reasons, many users' vehicles will be delayed in the near future.
Since 2022, the growth rate of NIO's automobile sales has slowed down. Some industry insiders have analyzed that Weilai's high bicycle price and current aging product strength are important reasons for its slowdown in growth. At present, NIO's main sales of ES8, ES6 and EC6 models are released before 2021, and the new CAR ET7, which has recently begun to be delivered, achieved delivery of 693 units in April.
Weilai said that it expects to release the 2022 ES8, ES6 and EC6 equipped with the latest smart cockpit hardware in late May, and the new large five-seat SUV ES7 will also be released at the same time. In addition, NIO will also deliver ET5 models in the third quarter of 2022.
Ideal Cars delivered 4,167 units in April, a new low this year, and the ideal L9, a new car originally scheduled for April, was delayed due to the cancellation of the Beijing Auto Show.
Shen Yanan, co-founder and president of Ideal Automobile, said that since the end of March, due to the rebound of the epidemic in the Yangtze River Delta, the supply chain, logistics and production of the whole industry have been seriously disrupted. Ideal Auto's Changzhou base and more than 80% of its suppliers are located in the Yangtze River Delta region, and some suppliers are unable to supply or completely stop production. The inability to continue production after the existing parts inventory was digested had a great impact on the production of ideal cars in April, resulting in delays in the delivery of new cars for some users.
