April 2022 news: "2022 Global Enterprise Reputation 100" was officially released. The list explores consumer trust, respect, affection and admiration for companies by surveying respondents from 15 of the world's largest economies, covering products and services, innovation, performance, governance, leadership, workplaces, and more. Based on more than 243,000 data collected, the score was based on a total score of 100.

From the perspective of regional distribution, a total of 43 companies in the United States are on the list, accounting for nearly half, and the top ten occupy 4 seats. Apple only ranked 64th, while Microsoft and Google ranked 17th and 42nd respectively. Sports brands Nike and Under Armour ranked 25th and 46th respectively. Germany is second with 12 companies, with the top 10 occupying 2 seats. France and Japan tied for third place, with 8 entries each.

Two Companies from China are on the list, namely Asus in Taiwan and Cathay Pacific airways in Hong Kong, with no mainland companies. To some extent, compared with European, American, Japanese and Korean companies, Chinese companies still have a big gap in brand building.

Canon, Adidas, Walt Disney, Microsoft, and Sony fell out of the top ten. Ranking 6-10 on this year's list are Harley-Davidson, Bosch Group, PayPal, Netflix and Intel. Harley-Davidson is the top-ranked company in the United States, with a history of 119 years. It owns well-known models such as the Electro Glide, Sport ster and Fat Boy, which are exported to more than 200 countries and regions around the world, with a total of 5 million units sold.

Last year, the company achieved revenue of $5.336 billion and net profit of $650 million, an increase of 31.62% and 49978.89% respectively year-on-year. Mercedes-Benz moved up to 5th with a prestige score of 77.6. Total sales last year were 2330169 units, down 5% year-on-year. However, the group's net profit increased by 484% year-on-year to 23.4 billion euros, more than the profit of the previous three years combined. Mercedes-Benz's sales of high-end vehicles increased by 30%, while sales of pure electric models of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles increased by 64%.

Since 2015, China has been Mercedes-Benz's largest single market in the world, accounting for 1/3 of its global sales. Last year's revenue reached 25.4 billion euros, an increase of 19% year-on-year. In the case of Mercedes-Maybach, in addition to the supply shortage in October, more than 1,000 vehicles were sold in the second half of the year in five months.

Britain's Rolls-Royce Plc was ranked 4th with a prestige score of 77.7. Founded in 1906, the company spun off its automotive business in the 1970s to form Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, which became a wholly owned subsidiary of BMW in 2003.

Ranked 3rd in the Global 100 by Prestige is the LEGO Group, with a prestige score of 78. Ferrari, a well-known manufacturer of motorsport and sports cars, based in Modena, Italy, ranked Second with a prestige score of 78.3. At the top of the list is Rolex, with a prestige score of 79. Last year, production reached 1.05 million, achieving sales of 8.05 billion Swiss francs (about 54.7 billion yuan), up 77% year-on-year, accounting for 28.8% of the Swiss watch brand market share, which is the sum of Omega, Cartier, Audemars Piguet, Longines and Patek Philippe combined.
