Century-old brand Harley-Davidson recently held a global new product launch conference online, originally Xiaobian thought it would usher in the third product of Harley's new engine, The Revolution MAX 1250, such as the street car Bronx, but it is only an update to some of its existing models, so let's see which models have been upgraded.
Harley-Davidson unveiled the all-new Low Rider ST and the more powerful Low Rider S, both of which combine the chassis and handling of the softtail series and are also powered by the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine.
The new Low Rider series is fully equipped with the Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine, which was once available only to the CVO version, the Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine has an actual displacement of 1923cc, is oil/gas cooled, has a maximum horsepower of 103 hp, bursts at 4750 rpm, and has a maximum torque of 169 Nm and an explosion at 3500 rpm. The repurposed high-performance air intakes with exposed filters can inject more air into the engine to boost torque at low to mid-speed and increase heat dissipation.
Low Rider ST is a sport travel version with a large fairing and side box, the ST version of the side box can be removed, when removed side box can be removed can turn the station wagon into a city cruiser. The ST version of the fairing was inspired by Harley's classic model, the FXRT, and the shape of the fairing was tested and developed through CDF (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis, with a 6-inch high windshield and equipped with 5.74-inch LED headlights.
The Low Rider ST also comes with longer shock absorption than the older model, with front shocks adding 1/2 inch of travel, rear shocks adding 1 inch of travel and seat heights increasing by 3/4 inches.
The front brakes feature 300mm dual discs with four-piston fixed calipers, the rear brakes feature 292mm single discs with dual-piston calipers, abs as standard, and the tires are equipped with Michelin Scrocher 31 tires.
The new gauges eliminate the tank-mounted setting, dual gauges become a more compact combined single meter, and a USB interface is also provided.
The Low Rider S is the ST version of the removal of the large fairing and side box, and the engine is also the Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine, which is 5% more torque than the old Low Rider S's Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-Twin engine.
The Low Rider S also features a new handlebar-mounted combination gauge to replace the previously mounted gauge on the fuel tank.
The rest of the Low Rider S is basically no different from the ST version, with the 2022 Low Rider S starting at $18,349 and the Low Rider ST starting at $21,749.
The release of two versions of Low Rider was accompanied by a more performance-oriented ST version of the Road Glide (Road Glide) and Street Glide (Avenue Gliding).
The 2022 Road Glide ST and Boulevard Glide ST have upgraded some performance components, but without the Scenamin' Eagle 131 engine, the new ST model is equipped with milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engines equipped with high-flow intake, high-performance camshafts and new exhausts, offering the same level of performance as its CVO model, with a maximum horsepower of 103 hp at 5250 rpm and a maximum torque of 169 Nm at 3500 rpm.
Other upgrades include longer preload adjustable rear shock absorption with a rear shock stroke increased to 3 inches, while Harley also offers Orrinth's Screenmin' Eagle suspension options.
Harley also has a number of electronically controlled features on the car, including electronic linkage brakes, cornering ABS, cornering traction control, towing torque control and vehicle hold control.
The 2022 Road Glide ST starts at $29,999 and the Street Glide ST equally starts at $29,999, and both ST models are $7,750 more expensive than the base model and $2,550 more expensive than their respective Special models.
Harley China also officially updated the price of the 2022 models on sale, some car prices rose, Luwei S also synchronously replaced the 117 engine, but also officially put on the shelves of the general plate Pan Am, priced at 206800 yuan.
