On April 28, Mercedes-Benz announced that the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB pure electric SUV was officially launched, the car has two regular versions, Mercedes-Benz EQB 260 priced at 351,800 yuan, Mercedes-Benz EQB 350 4MATIC priced at 423,700 yuan.
It is understood that the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB is not much different from the current model in terms of appearance, continuing the design language of the "EQ" family. The front face is shaped like a wings-out headlamp with a black enclosed trim in the middle shield shape. However, the stars in the middle have been replaced by "two bars", but you can still see the mercedes-Benz taste at a glance. The rear shape of the car is relatively square, the through-type light strip design, the light source adopts the "ring of time" shape, and supports the automatic brightness adjustment function.
The Mercedes-Benz EQB has a body size of 4684*1834*1693mm and a wheelbase of 2829mm, positioning itself as a medium-sized pure electric SUV. The digital dashboard of the interior center console is directly connected to the central control display, and adopts a suspension design, and the silver horizontal bar of the co-pilot is combined with the circular air conditioning outlet, which is more concise and has a strong sense of technology. The car is also equipped with MBUX intelligent human-computer interaction system, EQ optimized navigation, smog terminator 3.0 purification system and many other functions.
In terms of power endurance, the EQB 260 is driven by a front-mounted single motor, with a maximum output of 140kW, a peak torque of 380N·m, and a CLTC working condition endurance of up to 600km. The EQB 350 4MATIC is a front-rear dual-motor four-wheel drive system with a maximum output of 215 kW, a peak torque of 520 N·m, and a CLTC endurance of 512 km.
A few days ago, Mercedes-Benz also released the EQA 260 compact pure electric SUV, positioned slightly lower than the EQB, but the power performance and interior configuration are basically the same in all aspects, and the endurance is 19km more, priced at 321,800 yuan. In addition, the flagship SUV Mercedes-Benz EQS was also officially released, equipped with a maximum power of 400kW motor, peak torque of 858N·m, WLTP working life of 660km, but the price has not yet been announced.
Mercedes-Benz is accelerating the transformation of electric vehicles, releasing three pure electric SUV models in a row, but also wants to seize the market in advance and bring pressure to other car companies. In the 300,000 yuan price segment market, the comprehensive performance of Mercedes-Benz EQA/EQB may not be the strongest, but with brand support, the competitiveness will not be worse than Tesla Model Y, Ideal ONE and other models, which may help Mercedes-Benz open the electric vehicle market.
