Not long ago, the second generation of Changan CS75 PLUS officially met with us. As of press time, the second generation of Changan CS75 PLUS has not received complaints, and the short-term quality word-of-mouth performance is worthy of recognition. So, can the second generation of Changan CS75 PLUS continue the existing good quality reputation performance? Will there be some new problems that are difficult for ordinary consumers to discover? 1. Objective data
This project mainly shows the performance of the new car in terms of commerciality in the form of objective data through field tests of 12 items such as body technology, paint film level, interior air quality, noise from the car, static vibration in the car, parking radar and lighting/vision.
In the body process testing session, a total of 10 key parts of the vehicle are selected, and 3 key points are selected for measurement in each key part to evaluate the uniformity of the gaps in each key part. The gap uniformity of most of the key points of the second-generation CS75 PLUS is excellent, and the left and right values are relatively close, and the overall performance is worthy of recognition. However, the expert jury found in the test that the average difference between the gap between the rear fenders and the trunk on both sides of the car was large, but it had little impact on the test results, and the overall body process level was in line with expectations.
In the paint film level test, through the test results, it can be found that the average thickness of the second-generation Changan CS75 PLUS vehicle paint film is about 128.6 μm, which has reached the standard value of the advanced car (120 μm-150 μm), and the average thickness of the paint film in each test site is similar. During the test, it was found that the average thickness of the paint film in the same parts on the left and right sides of the car was not much different, and the uniformity of the paint film spraying was worthy of recognition.
In the in-vehicle air quality testing link, the vehicle is placed in the internal ground parking lot with fewer vehicles, and the formaldehyde component of the second-generation Changan CS75 PLUS is not detected in the car, and the content of PM2.5 and other substances is also at a relatively low level, which is in line with the "Guidelines for Air Quality Evaluation in Passenger Vehicles" (National Standard GB/T of the People's Republic of China) jointly issued by the former Ministry of Environmental Protection and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China since March 1, 2012 27630-2011) in the relevant standards.
In the static noise test, the second generation of Changan CS75 PLUS measured 30.0dB in the vehicle noise value at rest, which has reached the minimum value of the test instrument. With the start of the engine, the noise value in the incoming car shows a gradual increase trend, and the noise value in the incoming car is 52.1dB when the engine is at 3000 rpm. Comparing the noise values with several different environments, Dongfeng Yueda Kia Jawa is excellent at noise suppression of the engine and outside the car.
In the air conditioning noise test, the test instrument is placed at a position of about 10cm from the air conditioner outlet, and then the air conditioning air volume is adjusted from small to large, and the noise value of the driver's position in different gears is measured. After actual measurement, the air conditioning volume of the second generation CS75 PLUS has a total of 8 gears, the noise value of the air volume is 38.6dB when the air volume is in the starting gear, and the measured noise value is 64.6dB when the highest grade is opened, and the overall noise test performance is in the middle and upper reaches compared with the tested models of the same level.
After actual measurement, in the idle state, the vibration of the second-generation CS75 PLUS engine into the car is limited, and the values of various parts of the car are relatively close, while in the case of load, the values of the steering wheel and the front seat are slightly higher, and the vibration can be clearly felt when the steering wheel is held in the hand. The overall vibration value of the rear seat is low, and the value is relatively close in the two states of idle speed and air conditioning load.
In addition, we tested parking radar, lights/vision, control systems, tire hubs, sunroofs, seats, and trunks.
Measured, the second generation of CS75 PLUS front seat length of 500mm, the overall riding experience is more comfortable, the rear seat also supports the backrest angle adjustment function, its angle adjustment range is between 99-112.5 degrees, with a length of 460mm seat cushion, long ride will not feel fatigue. The central armrest lid adopts a fixed design and adopts a two-way door design, the surface texture is relatively soft, and the contact area with the elbow is large when the driver adjusts the sitting position.
In terms of radar power performance, the second-generation CS75 PLUS rear reversing radar can detect the rear object at 140cm, and the distance of each radar is relatively uniform, and the prompt tone is also very clear. At the same time, when reversing, the screen will also display the distance from the rear object, which is convenient for the driver to judge, and the nearest distance of the car to reverse is 30cm, and the safety value reserved is larger.
However, the car still has room for improvement in details, because the front of the car is relatively wide, it will block part of the front view when driving, the farthest distance of the measured front field of view blind area is 300cm, and the rear window line of the car is slightly higher and the rear wiper will block part of the line of sight, and the field of view distance of the inner rearview mirror is 2070cm, which is lower than the average level of the same level.
Second, subjective feelings
The project was subjectively evaluated by a number of reviewers on the actual performance of the new car in terms of static and dynamics. Among them, the static aspect includes four parts: exterior, interior, space and human-computer interaction; the dynamic aspect includes acceleration, braking, steering, driving experience and driving safety. Finally, the total score is given with reference to the subjective evaluation opinions given by the judges, so as to reflect the actual performance of the new car in terms of commerciality from the perspective of subjective feelings.
In the external evaluation, the overall performance of the second-generation CS75 PLUS is in line with expectations, the appearance design of the car is more outstanding, and the V-shaped forward grille is matched with the wide air vent decoration on both sides of the bumper, so that it has a strong recognition. The front of the car's inductive keyless entry function is sensitive, and the driver can directly pull the door handle after approaching the vehicle. Although the hidden mechanical key opening increases the aesthetics, it is necessary to pull the door handle and then insert the mechanical key when using it, which is slightly cumbersome to use. The car engine compartment layout is more regular, the components are arranged in an orderly manner, and the front machine cover is also equipped with about 15mm thick sound insulation cotton, which plays a certain role in suppressing engine noise, in the details, although the cabin is wrapped in insulated pipes between the various wiring harnesses, there will be some exposed wires at the head of the line, and there are still needs to be improved in the details.
The interior of the vehicle is wrapped in a large area of soft materials, and the front of the co-pilot is also equipped with piano paint trim, which adds to the sense of internal grade. The dual screen design of 12.3-inch full LCD instrument and 12.3-inch central control screen also creates a sense of science and technology that should be. The disadvantage is that the touch-type volume adjustment buttons, screen switches, HOME keys and automatic start and stop at both ends of the large screen have improved the sense of technology to a certain extent, but the overall logo is not obvious in actual use, and it is easy to misoperate. In addition, the air conditioner outlet of the car can adjust the wind direction, but it cannot adjust the size of the air volume, which is slightly inconvenient for daily use.
In terms of spatial performance, the second-generation CS75 PLUS ride is relatively generous, showing the level of a home SUV. In terms of storage space, in addition to the cup holder, there are a total of 16 spaces in the whole car, and there is a storage space under the front console that runs through the design, which can be placed in slightly larger items. The front cup holder is designed with a large and a small design, and the interior is equipped with a limiter to accommodate various types of water bottles and cups. The nearly straight design of the rear floor makes it not crowded when the rear seat is 3 people. In terms of power, the second-generation CS75 PLUS is equipped with a new generation of Blue Whale 2.0T engine, with a maximum engine power of 171 kW and a maximum torque of 390 N·m. In terms of transmission, the new car is equipped with a Aisin 8AT gearbox as standard. Although the car has a long throttle stroke, there is no obvious vacancy in the initial stage when starting, and the entire acceleration process is more linear. In terms of steering, the overall steering of the second-generation CS75 PLUS is relatively light, the feedback force is also controlled just right, and the steering wheel will be slightly heavy when driving at high speeds, giving the driver enough driving confidence.
In terms of suspension, the car is equipped with a front McPherson-style independent suspension, a rear multi-link independent suspension, the overall suspension of the car has a long suspension stroke, the rebound is relatively rapid, and can filter the small vibration on the road surface, and on the large undulating road surface, the "bounce" in the car is slightly obvious.
The car in this test is also equipped with a full-speed adaptive cruise system, which can support lane departure warning system, lane keeping assist system, road traffic sign recognition, etc. During the drive, the vehicle will follow the front car to start, brake and stop, and when parking, the dashboard will also show the distance to the front car, and at the closest distance, the distance between the car and the front car is 3 meters. When driving, the vehicle can also steer slightly according to the markings on the road and the amplitude is not very large. When driving, if the driver makes a lane change without turning on the lights, the vehicle deviation warning system will forcibly intervene with a tone, but the steering intervention is more abrupt. When the vehicle is plugged, the system recognizes quickly and will make a deceleration action, and the overall feeling is equally abrupt.
