On March 25, 2022, the President of the Republic of Belarus issued a presidential decree awarding the "Francisco Scalina Medal" to Wu Weishan, an internationally renowned sculptor and director of the National Art Museum of China, at the Belarusian Embassy in China. The medal is one of the first state awards established in Belarus and is the highest award for contributions to art, culture, science and technology in Belarus. Yuri Schenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the People's Republic of China, presented the medal to Wu Weishan on behalf of President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus in recognition of his outstanding personal contributions to world culture and to the strengthening and development of Sino-Belarusian cultural exchanges.

Wu Weishan is a sculpture artist with extensive international influence and outstanding achievements, over the past 37 years, he has always focused on the penetration and expression of the Chinese spirit in sculpture creation, creating more than 600 ancient and modern Chinese portraits with the influence of the times, of which more than 70 show the theme of the Red Revolution, more than 400 show the traditional Chinese culture, and more than 100 reflect the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind.

From 2013 to 2017, the filming of 43 masters in the first season of "100 Years of Masters" has been completed, which is divided into art, calligraphy, Peking Opera, drama, music and literature. The filming of 57 masters in the second season of "100 Years of Masters" has been launched in 2018, adding science and technology, education, traditional Chinese studies, architecture, traditional Chinese medicine, opera, and film, which are planned to be completed one after another, and will be presented with the "100 Years, 100 People, 100 Episodes" documentary, "100 Masters Special Exhibition" and "100 Books Publishing".

The completed documentary "100 Years of Masters" has been broadcast on CCTV (one set, three sets, four sets, nine sets, ten sets, fifteen sets, discovery channels, international channels), China Education Television, provincial satellite television, overseas television stations and other 157 tv stations at home and abroad, which have been widely praised and have repeatedly set new high ratings for similar documentaries. "100 Years of Masters (International Edition)" is broadcast worldwide in 8 languages.
