On April 20, 2024, the theme event of the opening exhibition of the first Hengdian Guanqiao Rural Art Festival & Han Art Museum (Hengdian) came to an end. As the initiator of this event, Shi Han made use of his multiple identities as a writer, publisher and artist to set up theme days of "Fun and Exhibition Opening", "Tide Travel, Art Co-creation" and "LOHAS Aesthetic Life" during the three-day event, focusing on the two major themes of "Contemporary Ink Painting Masters Exhibition" and "Rural Art Festival".
During the event, we invited more than 20 artists, designers, curators, intangible cultural heritage inheritors, 18 art co-creators, 100 students, and hundreds of local cultural circles, villagers, teachers, etc., to present a feast of design, art and aesthetics for Hengdian Guanqiao with a history of more than 700 years.
The 2024 First Hengdian Guanqiao Rural Art Festival hopes to capture creative inspiration through the experience of contemporary calligraphy and painting curation + art aesthetics + trend aesthetics + life aesthetics in the pan-art field, create a contemporary lifestyle model and life aesthetics source for aesthetic consumers, so that artists and audiences can immerse themselves in the rural context and reproduce the integration and symbiosis of artistic content and local spirit.

The main hall of Han Art Museum is located in the most beautiful village in Beijing - Gaobeidian International Cultural Center in Chaoyang District, adjacent to the Tonghui River in Beijing, the last kilometer of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, echoing the China Rosewood Museum.
Han Art Museum Zhejiang Hengdian Guanqiao Branch is located in Guanqiao, an ancient Chinese folk village, adjacent to the Yuanming New Garden in Hengdian 5A Scenic Area, the original site of the art museum is a courtyard house during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, and two old-fashioned granaries, which are connected and reconstructed, with a construction area of about 2,000 square meters, with a variety of functions such as calligraphy and painting exhibitions, education and research, creative collections, and live dialogues. There are thirteen bookstores, gentlemen's kitchens, petty officials, etc.

About the Curator
Shi Han is a post-80s writer, publisher, and explorer of the art of writing, as well as art criticism, curation, dialogue and other fields. Born in Qidong, Hunan Province, he now lives in Beijing. Founder of "Rice Art", director of Han Art Museum, former editor-in-chief of "Read Poetry for You", China's largest poetic and humanistic public platform, and editor-in-chief of "Wenxian Ge". He has successively served as the executive editor-in-chief of publications such as "Young Writers" and "Co-creation Group".
He is the author of a collection of essays, "The Taste of a Scholar", "Reminiscences of the Years Like Water", and "Dreaming Back to the Millennium", and the author of "Commentary on Ancient Texts" (point school book). He is the chief editor of more than 300 books, including "Dictionary of Chinese Calligraphy" (5 volumes), "Selected Works of Bingxin" (6 volumes), "100 Schools of Contemporary Chinese Literature", "Selected Chinese Prose in the Twentieth Century", and "Selected Contemporary Campus Literature".
