Automobilwoche reported that the launch of the Volkswagen ID.5 in Europe was delayed by a full month, and the electric SUV will not arrive until May. The main reason for the delay in the delivery of the ID.5 was the insufficient supply of cable harnesses that needed to be imported from Eastern European countries, and Volkswagen had to deal with the supply chain problem first.
Allegedly, due to the shortage of the above cables, Volkswagen could not even produce a sufficient number of cars, and the dealers did not have cars to display.
Volkswagen ID.5 began pre-sales in the German market at the end of last year, starting from 46,515 euros (about 334,900 yuan) and up to 47,550 euros (about 342,400 yuan), and the GTX version is 53,615 euros (about 386,000 yuan).
IT Home learned that the Volkswagen ID.5 has a three-dimensional circumference of 4599/1852/1613mm and a wheelbase of 2766mm, the Pure version is equipped with 174 hp (128kW, 310Nm), and the Performance edition is equipped with a 204-horsepower (150kW, 310Nm) rear motor, which accelerates 10.4 and 8.4 seconds from 100 km/h.
In addition, the ID.5 GTX will be available in a 220kW all-wheel drive version. The battery capacity is 77kWh, the cruising range can reach 520km, and the fast charge can get 300km of battery life in 30 minutes.
The model is equipped with a 77kWh battery pack, WLTP maximum cruising range of 520km, ID.5 GTX is 480km, the maximum charging power is 135kW, the official announcement is 30 minutes for ID.5 and ID.5 GTX to increase 390km and 320km cruising range, 7 minutes to increase 100km, and support reverse discharge function.
