Recently, Skoda officially released its new model - ENYAQ COUPE iV, the new car is the coupe SUV version of Skoda ENYAQ iV, also based on the Volkswagen MEB pure electric platform, can be seen as a sister model of Volkswagen ID.5. It is worth mentioning that the Skoda ENYAQ COUPE iV released this time is divided into a normal version and a performance version, and the performance version is named ENYAQ COUPE RS.
Not surprisingly in terms of appearance, Skoda ENYAQ COUPE iV is naturally a continuation of the overall design of the previous ENYAQ iV, the iconic central network adopts a closed shape, and there is an LED light source inside the middle network, with a sharp light set, it is very delicate and full of three-dimensional sense. The performance version of the ENYAQ COUPE RS model offers a unique "Mamba Green" colour scheme and blackens the trim around the body.
The side slipback body is the highlight of the new car, the smooth roof line adds a sense of movement, the angular waistline enriches the layering, the two-tone rim looks very full, and the ENYAQ COUPE RS model offers a 21-inch petal rim option. The ENYAQ COUPE iV has a sleek rear, C-shaped taillights that are highly recognizable, and a slightly raised duckling tail above the smooth tailgate.
The interior of the new car is not much different from the Volkswagen ID. series, but still maintains a very simple layout, specifically, the new car is equipped with a 5.3-inch LCD instrument, a 13-inch suspension central control screen and a HUD head-up display, and the compact sliding electronic barrier is full of texture. The ENYAQ COUPE RS model is equipped with sports barrel seats, and the words "VRS" are used on the steering wheel and headrests to reflect the identity.
In terms of power, the Skoda ENYAQ COUPE iV adopts a single-motor rear-drive layout, and the maximum power is divided into two versions: 177 horsepower and 201 horsepower; the RS version adopts a dual-motor four-wheel drive layout, sharing the powertrain with the Volkswagen ID.5 GTX, with a maximum power of 295 horsepower. In terms of battery life, the new car provides two capacity batteries of 62kWh and 82kWh, and the maximum WLTP range is 545km.
Summary: Compared with the previously released ENYAQ iV, today's Skoda ENYAQ COUPE iV is obviously a more niche choice and a filling of the market segment. Whether the new car is introduced into the country is unknown, even if it maintains a high degree of similarity with the Volkswagen ID.5 series, but considering that Skoda's brand attention is not high, coupled with this awkward name, the future market performance does need to be psychologically prepared.
