The white colt passes through the gap, and time flies. In the blink of an eye, it has been more than half a year since I stepped into the position of kindergarten teacher, looking back on the life of these months, I have witnessed the children from crying and crying when they first entered the kindergarten to now being able to eat and dress by themselves, from the nervous constraints of just entering the unfamiliar environment to now being able to confidently talk to their friends about acting; I also followed the children from being nervous and anxious when they first joined the company to being handy later, and the growth during this period made me feel that I was a big step closer to an excellent teacher.
Growing up early experience
In September last year, I was lucky enough to enter the Fourth Experimental Kindergarten in Yiyuan County through the recruitment examination and become a new teacher.
Just as the kindergarten opened, everything was a fresh start. In the face of the small class of children who need to adapt when they first enter the kindergarten, and at the same time take into account the work of the new kindergarten, the busy life that is completely different from the student era makes me nervous and anxious, and the impetuous heart makes it difficult for me to calm down to observe and understand the children.
Under the guidance of the kindergarten director and teachers, when I realized that this state of myself was not suitable, I began to actively adjust my mentality through learning. During this period, what made a huge difference to me was a collective teaching and research - an exchange seminar on the theme of the documentary film "Little People's Country". In the movie, I saw the most real children from the third perspective, and the first thing I saw was a somewhat introverted and persistent Chenchen, who had been patiently waiting for her partner Nande.
In the face of such a morning, the teacher did not forcibly take her into the house, but chose to respect her wishes and give help, adding a scarf to her when it was cold, and waiting with her when she was not working. Later, when they were about to move to the new garden, the teacher informed them in advance, so that Chenchen and Nande could be mentally prepared and patiently win the consent of the two of them.
From this detail, it can be seen that the teacher treats the child equally and considers the problem from the child's point of view, and the children also affectionately call her "Teacher Li". Reflecting on yourself, in order to let children develop good habits and better manage the class, they often ignore the child's feelings and ignore the child's main position.
Growing up starts with seeing children
After this teaching and research, I began to transform myself, I tried to squat down and communicate with the children, and when I squatted down, I saw the same world as the children. I insist on keeping a diary every day and reflecting on my work in a timely manner. Before the start of the spring semester, in the face of the upcoming children, I was not only not nervous but very much looking forward to seeing them who had not been seen for a long time, and also looking forward to seeing a new self.
One day, I saw Yu Yu pressing her against Xinxin's face on the table, and Xinxin still had YuYu's saliva on her face. I asked Yu Yu, "Why do you want to press xinxin's face against her?" He smiled and said, "Because I like Xinxin!" I said, "You like her to shake her hand or hug her, but that would make Xinxin uncomfortable." He nodded, and nothing like that had happened since.
When I understand the child from the child's point of view, it not only allows me to see the child's world, but also makes me closer to the child.
Qingqing, who had not been in the kindergarten for a long time, hugged me and cried because she "wanted my mother", and the tears and snot wiped me, and I smiled while holding him and said, "If you cry again, you have to wash the teacher's clothes, you see that the clothes are all stained by your tears and snot." As soon as I finished speaking, he immediately stopped crying, looked at my skirt, and touched the dirty place with his fleshy little hand, trying to wipe the stain off. The girl next to me heard what I said and said to me, "Teacher, I will wash it for you, in the washing machine." Listening to her repeat these two sentences with unclear pronunciation, other children around me also said "Teacher, I will also wash you", that warmth and touch made me deeply appreciate the happiness of kindergarten teachers.
I know, at this time, that I have entered the hearts of the children.
Growing up, every day with children
The sudden "cold spring" epidemic caused me to be separated from my children for a short time.
During this time, I choose a suitable time to meet the children through video connection according to the children's family situation. When opening a video with Boran's children, Boran's mother told me that Boran kept chanting at home, "I miss Teacher Xiaoting, Xiaoting, Xiaoting..."
"Xiaoting" is the name of my kindergarten colleagues to me, I don't know when it started, the children also called me "Xiaoting", just like the children in "Little People's Country" affectionately call Teacher Li "Big Li". I know that the children have regarded me as a good friend "Xiaoting" instead of "Teacher Song".
In the past, I used to communicate with children from the perspective of adults, and the results were always unsatisfactory, not only unable to understand the real thoughts of children, but also increasing our sense of distance. In contrast, at present, I use my identity as a friend to get along with them, and interact with children with an attitude of encouragement and support, which not only creates a good emotional atmosphere, but also greatly improves the quality of education. Because of this, I also found that every child is a unique existence and has its own shining point.
I realized that the teacher should not only bring the eyes of discovery, but also the ears of discovery, and "listen" to the inner voice of the child with his heart. If you want to teach a child well, you must first become a child, and when the teacher becomes a child and then educates the child, it is not just two hearts that are close, but the collision of two souls.
"Children are feet, education is shoes", only education suitable for children is the best education. Respecting children is the beginning of education, and every day I get along with my children, I have to walk into them with a positive attitude, treat every child equally, grow up with my children, and meet a better self together.
