Autumn is getting stronger, and the scenery is just right. In order to improve teachers' ability to understand and manage students' and their own emotions, on the afternoon of October 14, 2024, teachers from Renmin Road Primary School in Shizhong District, Zaozhuang City gathered together to participate in a lecture by teachers on mental health education with the theme of "'Teacher' Relieves Pressure · Gathers Energy to Move Forward".
The whole activity was presided over by Liu Xinyu, director of the school's moral education department.
This lecture aims to help teachers deeply understand the nature and role of emotions, master the scientific methods of emotion management, so as to better promote the development of students' mental health and build a harmonious educational environment. Our school specially invited two directors of the Municipal Hospital, Cao Baoyin and Ren Jixiu, experts in mental health education, as keynote speakers.
Director Ren first explained the basic concept of emotions and their importance in daily life and education and teaching in a simple way. She emphasized that emotions are like people's inner compass, which not only affect an individual's thinking, decision-making and behavior, but also have a profound relationship with the harmony of interpersonal relationships and the effectiveness of teaching.
At the beginning of the lecture, Director Ren opened with a vivid and vivid on-site interaction, which quickly captured the attention of the teachers. Subsequently, she deeply analyzed the basic concepts and mechanisms of emotions and their impact on individual behavior, physical and mental health, so that teachers have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of emotions.
Then, Director Cao shared effective strategies and skills for emotion management based on specific education cases. Teachers deeply feel that they must learn to maintain a balance between work and life, and avoid burnout caused by excessive emotional consumption; Be good at listening to students' voices, understand their emotional states, and help students learn emotional regulation and self-management through positive guidance and support.
The lecture is getting better and better, and it has ushered in an interactive session. Teachers asked experts questions about the emotional management challenges they encountered in teaching. Director Ren and Director Cao answered patiently, and combined with their professional knowledge and practical experience, they gave specific suggestions and solutions. In addition, the teachers also demonstrated emotional relaxation training, mindfulness meditation and other emotion management methods on the spot, so that the teachers could experience the actual effect of emotion management.
This lecture is like a beacon, illuminating the hearts of the teachers and unraveling the confusion in their hearts; It also makes teachers clearly aware that the psychological condition of teachers is not only a personal problem of teachers, but also related to whether it can have a positive impact on students' mental health and promote the healthy growth of students. Let us take today's insights and harvests, pay attention to ourselves, care for our souls, continue to decompress our souls in the journey of life, and be happy companions. (Correspondent Sun Jie)
