On October 19, 2024, the national continuing education project of traditional Chinese medicine "New Progress in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Femoral Head Necrosis with Traditional Chinese Medicine", the provincial continuing education project of traditional Chinese medicine "Hip Preservation Ladder Treatment System with Femoral Head Necrosis" and the municipal continuing education project "Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Stepped Treatment System of Femoral Head Necrosis" were held in the conference room on the fifth floor of Zhengzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedic Hospital affiliated to Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The class is sponsored by Zhengzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedic Hospital affiliated to Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and undertaken by the Osteonecrosis Center, Shi's Traumatology Inheritance Studio, and Zhengzhou City-level Famous Old Chinese Medicine Guo Yongchang Inheritance Studio, aiming to improve the treatment level of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment of femoral head necrosis, promote the development of basic and clinical research, and solve the doubts and difficulties in the diagnosis and treatment of hip joint diseases in traditional Chinese medicine in primary hospitals.
At the meeting, the apprenticeship ceremony of Guo Yongchang, president of Zhengzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedic Hospital, was held. At the apprenticeship ceremony, the disciples offered tea to Professor Guo Yongchang in turn, promising to work hard to learn the academic ideas and clinical experience of the tutor and contribute to the development of traditional Chinese medicine. Professor Guo Yongchang encouraged them to study diligently and have the courage to practice, so as to inject new vitality and wisdom into the field of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of femoral head necrosis.
Subsequently, 20 well-known experts in China and the province gave lectures, from the theoretical basis, diagnosis and treatment methods, common clinical problems, cutting-edge treatment progress, nursing and other aspects.
Chen Weiheng, director of the Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education and director of the Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, said that he would apply the knowledge he had learned to practical work, continuously improve his own diagnosis and treatment level, and contribute to the development of traditional Chinese medicine hip preservation diagnosis and treatment of femoral head necrosis.
Professor Guo Yongchang believes that this class has improved the level of traditional Chinese medicine hip preservation diagnosis and treatment of femoral head necrosis for medical staff, and has built a platform for learning and exchange for the Chinese medicine industry.
