If hypnotized, am I still conscious? Will it be controlled?

Last time, we introduced two essential characteristics of hypnosis: one is to make people highly focused; the other is to make people temporarily let go (or bypass) rational thinking, or critical thinking.

Today, we have collected 7 hypnotic questions that everyone is very concerned about and answered.

Question 1: Does hypnosis make people fall asleep? Am I still conscious under hypnosis?

The English word for "hypnosis" is hypnosis, derived from the Greek myth of the "sleeping god" Hypnos, who could use divine power to bring humans to sleep. Because of this origin of the word, it spread to China and was translated as "hypnosis.".

But in essence, this translation is not appropriate.

Hypnosis is not falling asleep,

Hypnosis is really not falling asleep!

On the contrary, the hypnotized person must be conscious, must be able to hear the hypnotist, and be able to deal with mental and psychological problems under the guidance of the hypnotist's language.

One of the patients we treated had a mental and psychological problem while studying in Japan and wanted to improve it through hypnosis. Before starting, the hypnotist gave her some medication and then began to play hypnotic music. After she lay down, she soon fell asleep in a daze.

When she woke up, the hypnotist said "it's been taken care of" and motioned for her to pay the bill, she had no idea what was going on in the process. This so-called "hypnosis" is obviously a flicker, and everyone should beware of being deceived.

However, although hypnosis is not to make people fall asleep, if a person has insomnia and is prone to nightmares, hypnotherapy can be used to improve it.

We have found in clinical psychological interventions that there are often psychological traumatic events behind insomnia, some people may remember, some people completely forget, or are unaware. Insomnia can be resolved quickly after we use deep hypnosis trauma repair technology (TPTIH) to repair the associated psychological trauma.

The real case we shared, Liu Ke, she once had difficulty falling asleep and slept very shallowly. After a deep hypnosis, I slept well that day and was not bothered by insomnia anymore. Her father shouted "magical."

Question 2: What kind of people are easily hypnotized?

Everyone's susceptibility to hypnosis is different. People with weaker rational thinking and easy to be hinted at by others are more likely to be hypnotized in life.

In the clinic, many hypnotists have reported that patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety disorder are difficult to calm down, relax, and difficult to enter the hypnotic state, and think that these two types of patients are not suitable for hypnotherapy.

In fact, the ease with which hypnotists can bring patients into a hypnotic state is closely related to their hypnotic level, the guiding language used during hypnosis, and the language expression.

If the hypnotist has a high level and has established a good relationship of trust with the patient, he can also hypnotize patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety disorder, and even enter a deep hypnotic state.

Our hypnotherapist Lucy has successfully brought many obsessive-compulsive disorder patients to a deep hypnotic state, accurately found the pathological memory behind the symptoms, and repaired them, and the obsessive-compulsive symptoms quickly disappeared.

Question 3: In a stage performance, the hypnotist instantly hypnotizes people, is this a kind of magic?

Stage hypnosis shows are a special state of hypnosis that has been analyzed very clearly in the video.

If hypnotized, am I still conscious? Will it be controlled?

The human bridge experiment, the picture comes from the network

Everyone should understand that the hypnotized people who can perform with the hypnotist on the stage are generally screened, and many of them have communicated with the hypnotist in advance and established a relationship of trust.

For example, many hypnotists will first select some of the audience members to come on stage and let them perform a "trust back fall" (a game that tests the sense of trust). Then the audience who are willing to fall backwards will be left to perform hypnosis, because this part of the people have a higher degree of trust, cooperation and suggestion of the hypnotist, and hypnosis is more likely to succeed.

Questions 4 and 5: Will I be controlled by a hypnotist like a marionette and allow others to do bad things to me?

When hypnotized, will the hypnotist let me say the payment password, or personal privacy?

These 2 questions are actually similar: after being hypnotized, will people be unable to control themselves to do something they don't want to do?

The answer is clear: impossible. If the person is unwilling, he will hesitate immediately; if the hypnotist repeatedly asks for it, he will be resistant, dissatisfied with the hypnotist, the relationship of trust will be gone, and he will quickly come out of the hypnotic state.

Of course, when we carry out pathological memory repair under deep hypnosis for patients, we sometimes encounter a situation where the psychological roots behind the patient's illness have a significant relationship with some of their secrets and privacy, and we will guide them to speak out voluntarily, because the disease can be dealt with.

This is not to spy on personal privacy, but to cure the disease. As for the privacy and secrets that are not related to the condition or psychological problem, the hypnotherapist will not inquire, and the hypnotized person has complete autonomy to choose.

Question 6: What's going on with a stage show for hypnotic animals?

A few years ago, a 5-year-old girl performed "animal hypnosis" on a TV show, which was widely circulated. The girl touched the small animals and talked to them, and the animals did not move for a moment.

If hypnotized, am I still conscious? Will it be controlled?

This is not hypnosis at all, the animal cannot understand what the girl says, it is impossible to be hypnotized by its language.

The truth is that the girl has mastered the skill of activating the "suspended animation reaction" of these small animals. It's an instinctive reaction of animals when they feel they're in danger of life, such as pressing their hands on the animal's neck arteries and causing them to briefly suffocate in shock.

Question 7: Why do telecom fraudsters succeed so many times, and even many intellectuals are brainwashed?

Telecom fraud often succeeds because it exploits 2 psychological weaknesses of human nature.

The first is the psychology of wanting to get rich overnight or get rich for nothing, seeing money open, losing your mind, and easily falling into the trap and being deceived. The three views of such people are distorted, and we must conduct profound self-reflection and re-establish a positive and correct three views.

The second is fear. For example, when they hear fraudsters say that their relatives have been in a car accident, and that their bank cards are frozen for suspected violations, they will panic, their rationality will be weakened, and they will even fall into catastrophic thinking. And the scammers make people not hang up the phone, and constantly make people highly concentrated through words, which is actually a kind of lucid hypnosis.

In this case, we need to strengthen our self-awareness, realize that we are in a catastrophic mindset, and withdraw from it.

In fact, the same is true of the parents of many people with mental and psychological disorders. Their children are sick, parents are very anxious, fearful, it is easy to rush to the doctor, as soon as they hear that a certain method can cure the child's disease, without screening and understanding, take the child to try, the child is easy to suffer secondary injuries.

To avoid this situation, parents of patients should first learn scientific knowledge of spiritual psychology, have a deeper understanding of the disease, and avoid fear, so that they are more likely to find a more suitable treatment method for their children under rationality.
