The sales volume of the new car-making forces is undergoing drastic changes, and the once-leading Nio Automobile is clearly lagging behind.

The sales volume in the first two months of 2022 is not only significantly lower than the ideal and Xiaopeng, but has even been surpassed by Nezha Automobile. The combination of the so-called "Wei Xiaoli" of the new car-making forces is likely to change to "rational and small".

Car companies, the new power of car manufacturing, are facing challenges from BYD. BYD achieved sales of 87,473 new energy passenger cars in February, an increase of 764.1% year-on-year and a decrease of 5.87% month-on-month, which was lower than that of new power car companies.

In the new energy vehicle financial subsidy withdrawal, chip shortage, tight supply of raw materials, superimposed BYD's strong competition in the industry environment, who can laugh last of the car companies that make new car forces?

The new force of bottom car manufacturing Weilai's sales have declined for 4 consecutive months

NIO delivered a total of 6,131 new energy vehicles in February, an increase of only 9.91% year-on-year. In contrast, in February, the ideal car delivered 8414 vehicles, an increase of 265.83% year-on-year; Nezha Automobile delivered 7117 vehicles, an increase of 255.49% year-on-year; Xiaopeng Automobile delivered 6225 vehicles, an increase of 180.03% year-on-year. Weilai's sales volume and year-on-year growth rate in February ranked at the bottom among several new car-making car companies.

In recent months, compared with several other car-making new car companies, Weilai's sales have continued to fall behind, and fatigue has emerged. In January 2022, WEILAI retail sales fell below 10,000 vehicles, only 9652 vehicles were sold, and sales were surpassed for the first time by the "second echelon" of Nezha Automobile. In 2022, WEILAI delivered a total of 15,783 vehicles, ranking behind Ideal and Xiaopeng.

In addition, the sales of several new car-making car companies in February fell sharply by more than 30% month-on-month. Among them, Xiaopeng Automobile fell by 51.83% month-on-month, the largest decline. The sales volume of car companies in February, a new force of car manufacturing, fell collectively from the previous month, perhaps related to the Spring Festival holiday, chip shortage, tight supply of parts and other factors.

Under the challenge of BYD, who can laugh last in the new car companies?

Among the new energy passenger cars, 43,173 pure electric vehicles and 44,300 plug-in hybrid vehicles were sold.

Contrary to the growth trend of new energy vehicles, BYD fuel vehicles achieved sales of 2795 vehicles in February, down 73.56% year-on-year. Since the beginning of 2022, the company's fuel vehicles have sold less than 3,000 vehicles for two consecutive months, and sales have fallen to the bottom.

Financial subsidies for new energy vehicles have regressed again. The Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the National Development and Reform Commission jointly issued a notice that the subsidy standard for new energy vehicles in 2022 will be reduced by 30% on the basis of 2021. And the subsidy policy for the purchase of new energy vehicles in 2022 will be terminated on December 31, 2022, and vehicles licensed after December 31, 2022 will no longer be subsidized.

In recent years, the sales of new energy vehicles have shown explosive growth, new forces and old car companies have entered the Red Sea, and industry competition has intensified. In the new energy vehicle financial subsidy withdrawal, chip shortage, tight supply of raw materials, superimposed BYD's strong competition in the industry environment, who can laugh last of the car companies that make new car forces?
