According to the current news, it is known that the new generation of crown will be officially released in the middle of the year, and the new car will provide 2.4T 24A-FTS engine and 2.5L hybrid system, and is equipped with a four-wheel drive system as standard, priced between 400,000 and 450,000 yuan, and the domestic monthly sales target is 1500 units.
It is worth noting that the 16th generation of Crown will be built based on the TNGA-K platform, that is, the same platform as Camry, Asian Dragon and Lexus ES, using a horizontal front-drive layout, rather than the longitudinal rear-drive platform that Crown was proud of in the past.
According to the current information, the 16th generation of the crown will have standard shaft version, long axis version, Cross crossover SUV version and other specifications. The front face will become more sci-fi, and the overall body shape will be sporty and have a slipback shape, which is also a feature of the TNGA architecture.
