Yang Aifeng is the representative inheritor of the bazhou intangible cultural heritage project paper-cutting, and her Winter Olympic-themed paper cut is 13 meters long and completed before the opening of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The 64-year-old Yang Aifeng is not only good at paper-cutting skills, but also in embroidery, yarn weaving, cloth stickers, and beading skills. As early as the eve of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Yang Aifeng spent nearly two years embroidering a work of "Olympic Athletes in China" to express the simple patriotic feelings of an artist.

Since 2012, Yang Aifeng's figure has been active in various paper-cutting public welfare activities and paper-cutting training sites. She is sincere and enthusiastic, many units and communities often invite her to participate in activities, she also went to special education schools and children's welfare homes to teach children to learn paper cutting, hoping that they can have a skill in entering the society.

Although he is already very famous in Korla, Yang Aifeng has not stopped learning. In 2014, Yang Aifeng participated in the embroidery training class organized by the Women's Federation of the Autonomous Region, which opened her eyes and strengthened her determination to continuously polish the paper-cutting skills.

While adhering to the art of paper-cutting, Yang Aifeng has also been committed to the promotion and inheritance of paper-cutting culture. In 2015, Yang Aifeng was hired by the Korla City Cultural Center as a teacher of Traditional Chinese Culture and Crafts, and many people who love paper-cutting came to visit. So far, a total of 20 paper-cutting training sessions have been organized, with 2,000 trainees, and she has also won many honors.

In 2017, Yang Aifeng participated in the training course for intangible cultural heritage inheritors of Xinjiang University, and her skills were further improved.

In 2018, Yang Aifeng also created 100 small bird cuts with different shapes for Shanghai University, and was awarded the title of "SpecialLy Invited Non-Hereditary Inheritor" by Shanghai University. In September 2019, Yang Aifeng was named by Bazhou as the representative inheritor of the second batch of intangible cultural heritage project paper cutting.
