The debtor fills the door and does not know what to use. Heaven is inspired by virtue, and the goddess is the opportunity. The story of Dong Yong in Cao Zhi's "Lingzhi Chapter" of the Three Kingdoms is only 40 words, but it is widely circulated in the north and south of the mainland, and it is well known to everyone, young and old, and Dong Yong has become a model of filial piety in Confucian culture.

The legend of Dong Yong is recorded in Liu Xiang's "Biography of Filial Piety (Pictured)" in the Western Han Dynasty, Cao Zhi's "Lingzhi Chapter" of the Three Kingdoms, and "Search for God" of GanBao in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. In the stone carvings of the Tombs of the Eastern Han Wu Clan in Jiaxiang County, Shandong Province, there is a scene of Dong Yonglu driving his father and working in the fields, and there is a written record of "Dong Yong, Qian chengren also (present-day Boxing County, Shandong Province)". The records in Gan Bao's "Search for God" of the Eastern Jin Dynasty were widely circulated in rural areas of the mainland because of their prominent themes and complete plots, and became the mother of story transmutation and literary transplantation for more than two thousand years.
