"We are now entering the 2020s, and a new term has emerged in higher education on the mainland, that is, 'non-heritage'. This is an important cultural event, but also an important educational event. In October last year, the country's first interdisciplinary master's degree authorization point in intangible cultural heritage (degree point code 99F1) was settled in Tianjin University. This meeting is not only to start the compilation of intangible cultural heritage textbooks, but also to disclose to the public the latest construction progress of the country's first interdisciplinary master's degree authorization point in intangible cultural heritage. It is reported that the first batch of intangible cultural heritage textbooks include "General Theory of Intangible Cultural Heritage", "Folk Literature Course", "Inheritance of Population History Course", and in the future, the preparation of various teaching materials such as cultural heritage, fieldwork methods, and traditional village protection will be launched.

"'Intangible Cultural Heritage' is a great non-renewable historical wealth, but it is alive, and its cultural essence needs to be passed on from generation to generation, and only the construction of disciplines can achieve such a guarantee." Feng Jicai said, "I often think that what we are doing is like building a building, and writing teaching materials is also a brick, and we must put each brick straight, put it well, put it solid, and stabilize it, so that our building can be built." ”

On the afternoon of April 28, the launch meeting of the compilation of "Series of Textbooks on Intangible Cultural Heritage" of Tianjin University was held.

Since the beginning of this century, the Chinese cultural circles and academic circles represented by Feng Jicai have launched the "Chinese Folk Cultural Heritage Rescue Project", which has surveyed, sorted out and protected the vast intangible cultural heritage on the land of China, and established a number of cultural archives for the rapidly decreasing traditional villages. According to Guangming Daily, relevant data show that the mainland has established a four-level list system of national, provincial, municipal and county with Chinese characteristics, with a total of more than 100,000 representative items of intangible cultural heritage and 1557 representative items of national intangible cultural heritage; there are 6819 traditional villages that have been identified. But at the same time, another set of data is worrying: during the 12th Five-Year Plan period, there was a gap of 100,000 people in cultural heritage protection and management personnel.

On October 26 last year, the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council issued a notice approving the 2020 degree authorization unit to add a list of degree authorization points, and the country's first interdisciplinary master's degree authorization point in intangible cultural heritage (degree point code 99F1) settled in Tianjin University. The formal establishment of this discipline marks that the cultivation of intangible cultural heritage talents in the mainland has entered a new historical stage of high-level specialization, and also marks a new stage of intangible cultural heritage protection from "rescue protection" to "scientific protection".

In Feng Jicai's view, there are three things in colleges and universities that are crucial to cultivating the team of intangible cultural heritage protection talents: one is the preparation of teaching materials, the second is the establishment of training goals, and the third is the smooth flow of employment.

For the first of these things- the compilation of teaching materials, the meeting officially established the editorial committee of the first batch of "intangible cultural heritage series textbooks" of Tianjin University, with Feng Jicai as the director of the editorial board and the chief editor of the series of textbooks, and 12 experts such as Pan Lusheng, Xiang Yunju, Yuan Li, Gu Jun, Fang Ming, and Tang Jialu as members of the editorial board. The compilation of the first batch of textbooks "General Theory of Intangible Cultural Heritage", "Folk Literature Course" and "Course on Inheriting Population History" was officially launched, and Xiang Yunju, vice chairman of the China Literary and Art Critics Association and distinguished professor of Tianjin University, Pan Lusheng, deputy director of the Teaching Steering Committee of College Design of the Ministry of Education and dean and professor of Shandong Academy of Arts and Crafts, Tang Jialu, professor of Shandong Academy of Arts and Crafts and director of the Institute of Chinese Folk Arts, and Guo Ping, professor of Feng Jicai Institute of Literature and Art of Tianjin University, served as the editor-in-chief of the three volumes of textbooks.

According to reports, the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Series Teaching Materials" are suitable for undergraduate and graduate teaching in fields related to intangible cultural heritage, and strive to cover the main areas of intangible cultural heritage protection and research at home and abroad, and fill the gaps in the construction of intangible cultural heritage disciplines and the cultivation of talents. The Teaching and Research Department of Feng Jicai Institute of Literature and Art of Tianjin University has set up a textbook editing room, and the first three volumes of textbooks are scheduled to be completed within the year, and lecture notes can be used in teaching in the new semester.

In addition to the preparation of teaching materials, he also proposed to find a unique way of education in intangible cultural heritage, and at the same time pay attention to the combination of education and training goals - the so-called training goals, one is the research talent of intangible cultural heritage, and the other is the management talent of intangible cultural heritage.

"I hope that everyone will work together to do a good job in this discipline and cause that has a bearing on the destiny of our national culture." At the end of the meeting, Feng Ji said such a sentence.
