At the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics held in Lichun, the countdown to the twenty-four solar terms stunned the world. "The Guangdong Academy of Painting is creating a series of works that will combine the climate and characteristics of the traditional twenty-four solar terms, and eight painters will present the representative flowers of the festival in their minds, and by the end of the year will converge into a long scroll of twenty-four solar terms and twenty-four kinds of flowers."
In the sharing session, Lin Lan, president of the Guangdong Academy of Painting, introduced himself to the audience. She created three works corresponding to the three solar terms of rain, spring equinox and summer, magnolia, peach blossom and lotus, which made her debut at this exhibition.
