Non-hereditary inheritors in Beijing will implement dynamic management and abolish the lifetime system

Beijing, February 13 (China News Network) -- Beijing will implement dynamic management of non-hereditary inheritors this year, and the inheritors will no longer be a lifelong system, further enhancing the awareness of representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage to perform their duties according to law. At the same time, we will continue to promote the creation of excellent songbooks, create high-quality performance programs, and polish the golden business card of Beijing cultural tourism. Liu Bin, deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and spokesman, said at a special press conference on the protection of Beijing's history and culture held on the 13th.

Liu Bin said that in 2022, the protection of intangible cultural heritage in Beijing will take inheritance and dissemination as the core, and the "Beijing Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative Inheritors Management Measures" will be promulgated soon to further enhance the awareness of the representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage to perform their duties according to law, implement dynamic management of non-genetic inheritors, and the inheritors are no longer a lifelong system.

At present, there are 92 representative inheritors of national intangible cultural heritage and 242 representative inheritors of municipal intangible cultural heritage in the city. Beijing Municipality has actively established and improved the construction of systems for the protection of non-genetic inheritors, continued to issue subsidies to non-genetic inheritors in the city, ensured the basic inheritance activities of inheritors, strengthened the construction of inheritance mechanisms for the inheritance of famous teachers, young people, and doll inheritance, explored the identification system for representative inheritors groups, strengthened the management of representative inheritors, and improved the withdrawal mechanism of representative inheritors.

Beijing has a history of more than 3,000 years of founding and more than 800 years of capital construction, and its rich historical traditions have accumulated a large number of precious intangible cultural heritage. Twelve projects, including Peking Opera, were inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. At the same time, there are 144 national intangible cultural heritage representative projects such as cloisonné production technology, and 303 municipal intangible cultural heritage representative projects such as Beijing opera. The number of representative intangible cultural heritage projects in Beijing ranks among the highest in the country.

Beijing Quyi, represented by cross-talk and Beijing storytelling, is a golden business card of Beijing Cultural Tourism. This year, Beijing will implement the "Beijing Quyi Inheritance and Development Implementation Plan", promote the creation of excellent songbooks, create high-quality performance programs, and encourage the construction of a special position for Beijing quyi performances.

This year, Beijing will also hold three intangible cultural heritage display activities: the first "Beijing International Intangible Cultural Heritage Week" will be held in the sub-center of Beijing City, including the opening ceremony exhibition, intangible cultural heritage lecture hall, intangible cultural heritage protection forum and other series of activities; the "Cultural and Natural Heritage Day" intangible cultural heritage display and dissemination activities, showing the fruitful achievements of Beijing's intangible cultural heritage protection in recent years; "Beijing Intangible Cultural Heritage Time-honored Shopping Festival", which will continue to unite e-commerce platforms and live broadcast platforms to link online and offline to help intangible cultural heritage products achieve a virtuous cycle of production and consumption. Stimulate the new vitality of the development of long-established non-genetic inheritance.

Liu Bin said that in order to improve the level of protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage in Beijing, social participation is actively encouraged. Give full play to the academic resources advantages of the capital universities, entrust Tsinghua University, the Central Academy of Fine Arts and other institutions to help train 1140 non-genetic inheritors in the country and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region; promote the two-way empowerment of intangible cultural heritage protection and tourism, organize tourism enterprises and tourism colleges to jointly design the "Beijing Central Axis Intangible Cultural Heritage Tour", and successfully selected as the national intangible cultural heritage theme tourism route; promote the integration of intangible cultural heritage into contemporary life, and design and launch the country's first set of Beijing intangible cultural heritage theme series bank cards, of which the bank card is based on the Peking Opera Brick Tiger Head Shield.
