On the evening of May 17, Lynk & Co 07 EM-P was officially launched, and the new car launched a total of 3 configuration models, with an official guide price of 169,800-189,800 yuan, and the three configurations also enjoyed a limited-time lock order subsidy sticker, and then reduced by 6,000 yuan. The car is based on the CMA Evo architecture, positioned as a mid-size sedan, equipped with a 1.5T EM-P plug-in hybrid system, CLTC comprehensive range of 1400km, and Lynk & Co 08 EM-P to form the "Lynk & Co EM-P mid-size car twins". In terms of appearance, the Lynk & Co 07 EM-P adopts the urban opposing aesthetic design concept of The Next Day concept car, with a rounded and streamlined front end, equipped with split headlight clusters, bifurcated daytime running light clusters on both sides of the hood, and high and low beams hidden in a black through-type structure under the nose, supplemented by a continuous LED light strip connection. The front envelope area is equipped with a large trapezoidal lower grille, which is connected to the diagonal air deflectors on both sides, enhancing the sporty appearance of the entire front end.
From the side, the entire body has a well-proportioned and smooth shape, with the roof sliding down behind the C-pillar into a large slip-back line, and the rear fenders are bulging muscles with a sense of power, and the recessed decoration of the side skirts diagonally upwards enhances the swooping of the car. The blackened roof and ABC pillars form a distinctive two-tone body, which lowers the car's visual center of gravity and is also beneficial to enhance the sense of style. Details such as concealed door handles and two-tone five-spoke wheels once again enhance the fashion attributes.
At the rear, the tail light cluster is a popular through-type structure, with a slender red light source with four square-shaped protrusions. At the end of the tailgate, a towering and upturned black tail wing corresponds to the large black rear surround, which is unified with the sporty positioning. In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the car are 4827/1900/1480mm, and the wheelbase is 2843mm.
The interior has many elements similar to the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P, with a tiled center console and through-air conditioning vents, a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 15.4-inch floating center display, paired with a 92-inch AR-HUD head-up display, forming a three-screen system. The LYNK Flyme Auto Meizu in-car system has not been left behind, the UI interface is simple and natural, and the interaction logic is clear and easy to understand.
The multi-function steering wheel has a three-spoke flat-bottom construction with an oval metal trim in the middle, which makes it more avant-garde. The electronic pocket shift makes more room for the armrest box, with a wireless charging pad for mobile phones and dual cup holders with covers. In addition, the car's seat A side is wrapped in Nappa leather, and the four seats support heating, massage, ventilation, etc., and the front seat backrest also has a Flyme Link function, which supports expanding the connection to Co Pad, with car control, entertainment, nursing and other functions.
In terms of power, the Lynk & Co 07 EM-P is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5T engine + motor, with a maximum engine power of 163 horsepower, and the motor adopts P1 + P3 architecture, with a comprehensive system power of 381 horsepower, matched with a 3-speed DHT gearbox. The battery pack has a capacity of 18.99 kWh, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has a pure electric range of 102 km and a fuel consumption of 4.8 liters/100 km.
As one of the few brands in China that focuses on performance cars, the Lynk & Co 07 EM-P is not comparable to ordinary family cars even if it is a front-wheel drive model. Compared with the Lynk & Co 03+, the Lynk & Co 07 EM-P is not only larger, but also has a more intelligent cockpit and richer comfort configurations, taking into account the fun of driving and control, and has a certain practicality. The only slot may be that it is not equipped with mainstream high-end intelligent driving, especially after the threshold of intelligent driving has been lowered, it is even more eye-catching.
